Hello.
Today I felt that itch, you sometimes get decided and have a look for a punt. Contacted a few girls but didn’t get any reply. One girl came back to me asking for a deposit and I turned the booking down. I didn’t want to pay up front  and risk being ripped off.
Another girl answered we met or went fine.  As it turns out she is a girl I’ve seen before so I don’t think that she is my problem.
My problem came when tonight I started receiving messages and calls from numbers I do not know. They are saying that I have missed an appointment with one of the VIP girls.  They are demanding £1800 from me, or they will send men round to torture me.
They referring to me by name, although that could be that they got it from my WhatsApp account. This has obviously, very worried.
I know this is a scam, but has anyone had anything like this before?

Apart from the torture thing (it's normally just a threat to tell a wife or others that you've been punting) this sounds like pretty standard scammer activity. 
As long as you dont give them anything, they should soon move on to other things. Or you could tell the police about it - and if you do that, dont try to hide things from them or you risk getting into trouble. But even if you dont tell the police, very low risk anyones going to actually physically come looking for you, unless there important details you havent told us.

Biggest lesson to learn if next time get a punting phone, or at least get a prepay SIM from a supermarket or something and use that. Never may punting related calls or txts from your regular number, especially if it's linked to WhatsApps or to socials.

The only thing that raises my eyebrows is that your post indicates you’re not using a punting phone. Which if true, is criminal! A rookie error.

He has zero credibility on here so I'm not so sure about him posting phone numbers. He has used the site often enough in his 2 years of membership to have made some form of useful contributions but this is his first post.
