Being pretty new to this can people share how they deal with hotel reception/concierge when visiting hotels etc?

Just be confident and discrete - they have seen it all before and don't give a stuff really.

Exactly I'm no fan of hotels so just imagine you are a paying guest.
Does reception normally look or question you?No so act like that.
In any case SPs tell me the the hotels know what the score is and couldn't care less.

I second that just be confident. Those of us however who work from hotels will
choose hotels that you will not get accosted at reception and have easy access to rooms

Online norwichfunseeker

A decent WG will give you directions to get past the desk, (ie enter hotel, walk to left of reception desk, to the stairs / lift lobby, then 2nd floor, room number XXX type thing) only worry about the first part, as once you're past the reception desk you can recheck the other directions.

Look confident, and purposeful, but they really dont care.

Hide in plain sight - be obvious and deliberate

If you go in nervous and shifty then you will draw more attention to yourself

Not all are like you Lou,some book hotels with regardless of key access and discretion.

Really?  I find that bizarre  :unknown:

Mostly (near-) minimum wage jobs. The last thing they want is to get involved in an altercation with a customer. Provided you aren't making it obvious or causing a disturbance, they will be happy to let you go on your way.

Look like you are entitled to be there, move confidently and smartly and all will be OK. If you get to reception and suddenly feel lost or unsure, then sit on a handy chair, appear to be checking your phone whilst surreptitiously confirming the lift location and then move onwards.

The worst one I had was in a keycard lift-access hotel where the escort said she would meet me at the lift. Ten minutes later I was still waiting, whilst I had many chances to enter the lift, and lots of guests and staff walked by. Lots of use of the "I am just waiting for someone" excuse before she turned up. I was on edge, but still no-one was really interested in me.

Offline Trotter671

I always just act as though I'm a guest. I normally arrive early and go for coffee or juice in the bar or cafe. Should have no need to deal with reception. Always have my punting rucksack so looks like it's my luggage/overnight bag.

Just go to reception and ask which room Lou2021 is in?
Tell them you’ve come to try on an expensive condom.
You’ll be fine  :sarcastic:

Walk in like you're meant to be there. It's that simple.

Agree with this 100% - don’t give any reason to draw attention. Hotels usually have many coming in and out so just have to blend in

I've been challenged more often in serviced apartment situations.  Make sure to get in advance the booked-in name of your lady and her room number,  or something, anything, if only to be able to give a smart reply to the concierge IF NEEDED.  :hi:

Hotels tend not to care, the entrance in big ones tend to be full of people coming and going ( think Village Hotels with gyms and bar). Walk in scope the are and maybe head to the gents.
Any SP with any decency will text you decent instructions.

True, walk in with confidence and don't loiter in the reception area. Someone will eventually notice you.

Just walk in confidently I was nervous the first time but it’s just the same as if you were genuinely meeting a friend and happened to go up to their room if they weren’t ready yet.

Online norwichfunseeker

I have seen a few girls at hotels and just walk past reception, trying to looking confident etc.

a while back a family member was staying in a hotel near me, and they gave me their room number, as I had to drop something off before we went out.
I said to reception I was meeting someone in room XYZ, and even though the hotel was card entry they just buzzed me through, certainly didnt ring my the room to check my identity, and I dont recall having to give the guests name etc. I thought afterwards, that id have never dreamt of doing that if i was seeing a WG there. Obviously I get that an increased number of older men saying they are there visiting their daughter in room XYZ would arouse suspicion.

Or for a "laugh" do what I did recently and arrange to meet a pair of SPs in hotel bar then take them both upstairs, was OK going up but when checking out was asked if I'd had a nice time the previous night with a knowing look. They don't really care as long as you don't create a mess in the room, make a lot of noise and you pay the bills.

Offline Mr Sinister

Whatever you do avoid having the WG come down to meet you, had one insist on this meeting by the lift in Travelodge. Just as we got into the life a family got in with us, the problem was wg decided to come down in her heels and suspenders while wearing a top it was so obvious. There was deafening silence in the lift as Mom & Dad knew what was up, we got off first but that 15 seconds felt like an eternity.

My first punt was in a hotel.

So along with the nervousness of having my first punt, I was nervous about being “caught” by hotel staff.
I had no problems getting to the room, and the punt was great. Since then, I’ve had many punts in Hotels with no issues.

Few bits of simple advice:
- Know where you’re going (Floor, room number)
- Act like you belong (Don’t look like you’re sneaking around)
- If questioned by staff, just remain polite and advise you’re heading to your room
- Don’t knock the door, 99% of the time the girl is waiting for you to arrive (Overly cautious maybe, but just a preference for me)

Like others have said, Reception staff don’t care, and they shouldn’t.
The only time they would, is when you’re causing an issue.

This was the day I was late but got the cash machine jackpot in the hotel reception:

I eventually got to the hotel, threw my car in the first available space, and pretty much ran towards the reception area. It was busy, lots of people having meetings and lunch. Sure enough there was a cash machine opposite reception, towards the bar. The cash machine made a very loud beep with every button press. I felt everyone in the room was watching me. Wrong pin, WTF, try again, slow as fuck to register, I am missing out on pussy time "Hurry up", my frustration was evident. Finally £200 comes out one by one extremely loudly and in slow motion in new £10notes. They may as well have flashing lights and sirens. I think people thought I had won the Jackpot. I take my Wad of cash struggling to shove it in my trouser pocket as I walk past the lady on reception who was watching my every move as I headed to the rooms. Fuck wrong way, turn around, back past reception, I am sure she was grinning a very knowing smile at this stage. I just smiled nervously as I headed down the other corridor, past the stairs that I should of gone up. Finally after a tour of the inner bowels of the hotel, turn after turn down dark dingy corridors, climbing over laundry, saying hello to at least four maids, and possibly one punter looking equally lost. I finally get to the room 25minutes late
Not like me. I normally like to get their early sit down have a drink  and play spot the other punters and pro$$ies.

Blah blah blah.....

Quick shower before I left, said goodbye to the maids, found a shortcut back to reception, high fived the receptionist (no I didn't), .

Always leave extra time, and a bit more, and squirrel the cash away days before you need it!

That’s multi-tasking.
Work phone to ear, punting phone with whatsapp 4 inches from your face trying to follow directions. Too obvious.

Better to just talk to the WG and get directed in:
“So I am just walking past reception now. Did you say the lifts are on the immediate left or right?.......
OK, and it’s second floor; room two hundred and sixty nine, haha......You have got your sussies and seamed stockings on? ....... Great, and did you get some ice for your strap on. You know it works better when it’s cold and stiff. Gotta go now, I’m in the lift and getting some funny looks.....Dunno... someone must have farted.......see you in a mo”

Also it depends upon what the scenario is.  Never make the assumption that punters like Proton.Punter are walking into a hotel solo - they might sometimes be walking in with a partner for an imminent 3/more some so immediately any issue is removed  ;)

Offline stampjones

I think this and similar threads prove there’s a lot of overthinking goes on. Its not rocket science. Walk in, go to the room 😂

I mostly use hotels to meet SBs so I have to actually check in to the room. I usually get day rooms - ie 12-5 or similar so its blindingly obvious what is happening, especially if I have a hot young girl beside me, and no-one has ever said anything to me so I think you’re allright to simply go to a room

I’ve never understood why guys are worried about this kind of thing. Hotels are transient places with people coming and going all day/night. I’ve had job interviews in hotel lobbies, had family meals in hotel restaurants, met mates in hotel bars, met sugar babies in a hotel bar and also punted with hotel based WG.

Just relax, blend in and hotel staff will not bat an eye. They really have seen it all before, they know what goes on and really don’t give a flying fuck as long as you don’t cause nuisance to their other guests.

+1 - also the staff do rotate so they are not going to know everyone who is a paying guest or not. Just walk in be confident and smile (and have a plan before you get there) and it will be fine.

The only caveat I would add to the above is that some city-centre hotels do have a security presence at night checking who is coming in, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights.

Offline StingRay

A few more thoughts on this, but I agree with the overall response, which is don't overthink it!

- I've done the mobile phone trick myself in the past, but reception probably now identifies this as "look, there's a punter going to room 69" (almost a freudian slip as I typed rom69 before I noticed and corrected it)!!
- Some girls don't do their homework and book hotels where lift/floor cards are required
- Be positive, alert and try not to draw attention to yourself - for example, whilst some hotels don't require you to go past them to get to the lift, it's not always that obvious where the lift is!
- Probably most important, after this 2 year fuckfest, hotels want revenue, so just be sensible and you will be OK

Offline Stiltskin

Next time try walking in backwards. If anyone on reception looks up they'll just assume you're on your way out.

Years ago this caught me out as a regular who was coming to my room at a city hotel was stopped and I had to go down and collect her!  Fortunately with that particular lady the age difference between us was not too much, I would have been embarrassed collecting a 20 year old in short skirt and heels!  (Although I would have lived with the embarrassment and shagged her.....)

Offline RedKettle

I am often early for these sorts of appointments and depending on the hotel I go in and get a coffee and sit there reading or using my laptop.  Gives you a reason to be there and makes you a customer but mainly you get a chance to get the feel for the place.

Offline StingRay

Something I tried a couple of times in EE (hotel security look away) is, if you need to meet the girl outside the hotel, give her your room key/card and make sure that she flashes it (the card that is) as you go into the hotel together  :hi:

Offline JimmySW

If you’re having a girl visit you as an outcall give her exact directions to the room so she’s confident in walking through the hotel and pick a more experienced escort who won’t find it a problem, not a youngster!

Bollocks! If she is 19 and been doing this a year she may have had 50 hotel meets. Or 200!  But more to the point, punters should always fuck who they fancy.  Since hotel meets are zero risk, NOT choosing your type makes no sense at all.

(Please, I hope you won't next quote that old favourite BS myth (started by 40 yo escorts) that new punters should start with a mature escort.  :vomit:)

My wife was hotel manager for 2 different major International chains.. They always know who the SPs are and what rooms they are in. If they suspect that there maybe trafficking / human slavery involved they will notify Police.

Oh and they can spot you the moment you walk through the door...

Just saying.

Offline Walsalllad15

The best way I find is walk into the hotel using your phone,  pop to the receptionist and show them the lady your visiting and ask what room number she is in.

Seriously,  the hotel I use in Walsall has a gym, so normally walk in some nice sports wear,  then into the lift

Offline Adoniron

Walk in like you belong there. Look confident. A suit and a laptop bag help, jeans and trainers don't.
