PAYG SIM which doesn't need adult verification?

I'm after a payg SIM. My current one is three and I'm going to change it but Three need adult verification to look at adult sites. Anyone recommend a SIM that can access the sites once topped up and no additional work needed.

Dunno if it's changed but when I had a Three PAYG SIM I just wandered into one of their stores and they did it without me showing any ID or credit card. I look my middle-aged years though and there was no question of "Challenge 25" or any need to prove I was 18. Maybe I just touched lucky and caught them in a "can't be arsed mood"?

Yeah I've bought the SIMs from other places and you need to contact them to credit card or something else. Might try that but no guarantees with a jobsworth

The last time I needed to do this they demanded;

A current passport.
Photo Driving License.

Online;

Go to My3;

You pay £1 with a Credit Card.
They refund the £1 the same day.

I believe that all SIMS have a block that you need to request removal.

Last year, I went into an EE shop and got a pay as you go. The assistant was able to configure it for adult content on the spot. I gave false name and details. No checks. Not sure how this would work now.

That sounds mad.  How would they know it was you in the photo unless you had your passport or driving license pic to verify it?  It could be any middle-aged bloke holding a phone that you asked to take a pic of.

Unless you’re planning terrorist activities and are really worried about the police tracking you I don’t really see what the problem is.

You buy a burner SIM,  you go through the steps of adult verification via Credit Card and you’re away. I believe you have to use a credit card to register as owning a CC shows you’re over 18 years of age.

Are you worried that the average working girl has the technical know how of the FBI and is going to track you down?

Get two simcards, verify one and keep the other anonymous and unverified.  Always use the unverified one, in a cash-bought unregistered phone, to contact escorts.  You don't need porn-clearance for that.

To those who still haven't figured out why this is important: there are nutters out there, and some will lie to the police to get them involved.  Maybe even get themselves pregnant and get the CSA involved (you took your used condom home with you?).

The risk is small, but the consequences could be horrible.  Just a little bit of extra care could save a huge amount of grief.

Get a vpn that works on your mobile.  Gets around the need to contact the sim card supplier for adult content.  I use Digibit VPN for £2 a month, use it for other things too on my PC and streaming boxes.
