Forgive the slightly frazzled nature of this post but it only just occurred to me to see advice here.
Some background. I've a free house for the weekend and arranged a booking via an RB. I'm aware of the risks involved and that many of you have a dim view of this. I take adequate precautions but am aware that risks remain and that a dozen previous meets with no incidents has no bearing on this event. I'm *mostly* sure this was a coincidence but wanted a sanity check.
RB was confirmed yesterday morning. Girl I've not met before. She asked for a utility bills as proof of address but was happy for it to be redacted to remove every bit of identifying info sans the address, which I would have had to give her anyway. I'm technically capable and did this properly.
Later that afternoon, we agreed to reschedule for later in the weekend because of something coming up her end. Sorted this out to mutual satisfaction. We're still on for that meet tomorrow.
Being an opportunist, I reasoned I might have two punts this weekend rather than one. Ultimately, I arranged something with a girl on my hotlist from AW. No reviews here but plenty there. I also made enquiries with three agencies via a burner address to see if I could do any better. I've checked several times and did not send them a postcode.
Girl from AW turns up. Will be a neutral/negative on the review but was friendly, professional and gave me no concern. At no point was she out of my sight the entire hour. She leaves about 11 and I settle in to watch TV for a bit.
At 3am, there's a knock at the door. An african-sounding couple are outside. The woman is older, seems somewhat disorientated and did not look like a WG. She wanders up and down the road as the guy follows her occasionally moving his car. They spend a good 20-30 minutes looking at other houses. I didn't hear them knock anywhere else but they may have. They seem to keep returning to my place.
Before leaving, they return to my front door and the guy bangs twice very forcefully. I had no intention of opening it and was observing them from an upstairs room with the lights out. He's carrying on to the woman about how they are asleep or not here. She still seems confused and looks at her phone before eventually, they drive off.
Leaving the house this morning, I've closed every single window and double checked the doors. Wondering if I will get a repeat. I did leave lights on downstairs so they might be chancers who saw that I might be up in the small hours and thought they would try a scam. I can't see a logical connection to my booking but clearly it has to be considered. If the woman looked more like a WG, I'd wonder if someone had booked an agency girl to my place as a troll but she could have been 40+. The guy was an absolute unit though, he gave me the impression of someone who might drive girls to residential outcalls.
Have not mentioned this to my booking for tomorrow but contacted her today and not got the sense of anything untoward. The whole thing is bizarre and I am reasonably sure is a co-incidence but clearly I do not want a repeat in the future.
Is there any light anyone might be able to shed on it? I have a weird imagining of being stung by some anti-escort activist who has taken my details and attempted to scare me but this seems really far fetched!
