Thats some quite disappointing replies then, I must admit that I thought that there was some mileage in them but based upon this thread, I am not so sure it is worth the risk.

The water ones are the worst, it seems that lube residue and or semen can cause a hydrolysis reaction causing the hydrogen and oxygen to seperate, if close to an ignition source when you take off the cock pump  the hydrogen ignites, shoots the pump through your window onto the front lawn and the backdraft ignites the short and curlies a bit like a North Korean missile test!

I have played with a proper medical pump,the sort that is bought for erectile dysfunction. It does have a temporary effect in that it stretches your dick and makes it thicker. Over time, i suspect there might be a bit of increase that remains but probably not much. You do have to be very careful with the genuine ones as they can apply quite a high vacuum and if left on for any length of time can cause bruisng. The porno pumps as advertised on various sites are probably mostly rubbish.
