What is the crack with hotels atm?

Got a punt coming up city centre area in the next week in a hotel. Little bit anxious about getting stopped by Police, thinking of parking up and then wearing my running gear to the punt (light jog for 5 mins from the car to the hotel) so I've got a reason for being out the house in the event of getting stopped to or from the punt.

Am I over thinking this?!are police waiting by notorious Hotels used for punting?feeling pretty paranoid about it all

Twice in the last couple of weeks, Croydon and Brighton, meets became car meets because access to the hotel by non residents has been restricted. Now these were not advertising WG,s and London may well be different but I would check before travelling.

The ladies are getting hotels/accommodation somehow. The amount of touring ladies up and down the country is high and they are moving between counties. This to me tells me escorts have a good excuse to travel. Someone may have to ask a lady what it is and we punters can use.

You don't need an excuse to travel unless you're stopped by the police, I suspect these girls will have excellent excuses prepared. I'm more surprised by the number of fines given out locally reported in the local paper, I could come up with a dozen excuses on the spot if pushed, and a well prepared one if I knew in advance I might be stopped, I could even print up some sort of fake meeting details.

Stayed in three hotels lately and booked online. Two of the three emailed, one of them called, to ask if I was travelling on business. I was so no need to lie. The other didn’t contact me but gave me a sheet on arrival which said I must be travelling and staying on business and then asked for a letter from my employer. I said I didn’t have that but had an entry pass to my workplace, a well know company, in the car. Receptionist said that’s ok. So questions asked but not really much policing of it. We’re all decent hotels.

Slightly different situation, but I met an escort using a hotel in Norwich last week without any issues. A member of staff actually greeted me as I entered there, even though it was a small place and she probably knew I wasn’t a guest.

I stay in hotels at least two nights a week and Thursday night was the first time I was asked by reception why I was travelling, my reply was business and that was that!

I use large chain hotels currently and book online and yes have had visitors, just walked in together as if we are a couple and no questions asked.
