My initial thoughts on this thread was along the lines of making an effort on personal hygiene before a visit (I know I have to).
However, after digging a bit deeper into some other threads, I wonder if the problem is more about attitude. There seems to be a divide here between punters who would treat WGs with respect and those who treat them with contempt. Same goes for the WGs' attitude towards punters, from personal experience.
Most people respond positively to courtesy, charm and respect, so perhaps making an effort in this area will make the biggest improvement in the punting experience, and will probably have a positive knock on effect for other punters as well. Yes, I am sure there are WGs who are just so jaded that you are not going to have a nice time with them, but then we have this forum to help avoid them.
