Are agencies better for lazy punters?

I know agencies aren't generally popular amongst the cognoscenti, but the more I think about it they are so much easier to book.
I am a really lazy fucker where researching prossies is concerned these days and I find trawling through the bollocks that is AW about as riveting as watching the Open Golf. Booking a decent indie is just really hard work - they don't respond, aren't available etc, etc, whereas you select one from an agency and if she's not showing as away the odds are you will get a booking.

Now I know there are many drawbacks
1. Usually more expensive.
2. Natural dislike of lining the pockets of pimps.
2. Agencies tell lies re services and feedback (but so do indies)
3. Heavy photoshopping, so what you see is often not what you get to the extent that it may as well be bait and switch even if it isn't (but so do indies).

Over the years I have had my fair share of both, and good and bad from both, but I really think I will go down the agency route for my upcoming London trip. It's just so much easier.

Don't know if better for the 'lazy' punter, but where I punt there are no longer any 'permanent' SPs that take my fancy and the tourers are generally unreviewed on here with 0 or negligible AW feedback (for what that's worth), so the local agency I fairly recently discovered is a God send.

Prices generally the same as the tourers, ok photo shopping of their pics, but as you say same for those on AW. So become more of a necessity for me.

How about HoD,I only used them once and was happy with the service, found them efficient and probably not as expensive as an agency.

I have no interest whatsoever in agencies, most are grossly overpriced, photos are tampered with and they will often tell you what you want to hear ------------------ not for me thanks.

The one and only time I've used an agency the girl I booked was brilliant and 20 quid cheaper than her AW indie rate
I agree that some of the Photoshop pics are ridiculous though.

having punted in Newcastle for a good few years and no longer there apart from an agency regular that I still see as often as I can, I think they are in my experience easy to deal with and its cuts all this back and forth messaging for days on end on aw which is a pain. Phone, book, turn up.

The short answer is "yes".  I prefer to book at short notice and that makes agencies important to me.  One call normally does the job as opposed to text or AW message ping pong. 

You also know the girl actually exists, is almost certainly working of her own free will and has some level of support if she needs it.  You also occasionally get a "steer" from the agency as to who you may or may not like based on who else you've seen.

I tend to book with indies most of the time.  I have used one agency in Cardiff 3 times and 2 of them were for same day bookings, which I found to be very handy.  I intend to use them mainly if I get a cancelled booking from an indie on the day of the booking, as a plan b.

It would seem Newcastle / NE agencies are the exception to the rule, they're quite often cheaper or at least same price as indi's, The only downside is they won't discuss services, you have to rely on reviews.

As has been said though, phone up, book, turn up and that's it. One phone call and maybe 1 text to confirm booking on the day.

Some agencies will give you decent info, but by and large they are pretty abrupt and just want you to make the booking and piss off the phone.
The foreigners are the worst, although a couple have been okay - the woman at Blue Monday, but they are expensive, and the woman from Best Escorts way back in 2002 through whom I booked the magnificent Emily, one of my all time great girls, twice.
Easily the best receptionist however I found was the older sounding English bloke who used to answer for Anna's Angels, he was happy to chat ad infinitum about what her knew about particular girls.
However as I say many receptionists sound like they think you are a cunt for actually daring to ask for any information.

I've had some really good punts recently with Leeds agencies.

Price is OK as well. I pay no more than £270 for 2 hours and 4 hours is no more than £500 which is comparable with the top of the range indies.

I have no issue with services as I ring the receptionist and directly ask. I then confirm with the lass in the room.

A good indie will make sure she's up to scratch if she wants good reviews and return custom, but some girls just don't seem to realise this or are lazy and just want the money for minimum service.

The advantage of a well-run agency is that they have a vested interest in the girl doing a good job and keeping clients happy, so will often find ways to weed out the poor performers.

That's one theory. But also there's another theory that they will take on anyone.
I can prove this, as Nicoletta, my favourite, once told me she sent her photos to various agencies and they all put them up without even seeing her, let alone interviewing her. Now Nicoletta is brilliant , but she could just as easily have been shite and the agencies wouldn't know, or seemingly care. Unless they searched for fb on her, which I very much doubt.
I expect many of the agencies operate this way. This is why so many girls are on multiple agency sites.
