That is pretty much my experience.  I think the Brazilians have always charged slightly over the odds.  Probably worth it if looks are your main thing, as many are stunners.  But if service is more important, then lack of DFK, mechanical service and conveyor belt mentality are real downers.  Many years back I knew an absolute stunner whose service was top-notch, but when she stopped working I wasted far too much money on disappointing substitutes.
