I think I may start saving up to finally punt abroad. Brazil being the ultimate destination but Portugal and Spain would be ideal weekends away.
As your 1st punting trip i would suggest Spain over Portugal
The latter is comparitively hard work
Whereas Spain is made for punting
If you are gonna go on your jack i suggest Barcelona
With mates Marbella comes into play
Some golf the the summer months & rotate between Puero Banus & Fingerhola [Estark]
Barcelona IMO much better for a long w/e & more fart arsing around getting taxis in Marbs [expensive on your own]
Whereas Barcelona its all pretty central, there are some decent clubs [punting & civvy] & a well nice beach
If you like watching footy & the trip is during the season then usually a trip to the Camp Nou would be an ideal add on
However the stadium is being redeveloped & matches played elsewhere
On the other hand Real's stadium overhaul is completed & easy to get tickets as the ground [like Barca] is huge [other than for El Classico]
Madrid detailed on here plenty of options
Have only done about twenty [or more not quite sure how many] punting / lads / business trips to Spain
and you really cant go wrong unless you are a complete 🔔 end
