He allowed an unauthorised person into a secure area of a hospital, shagged a call girl while he was supposed to be on duty and shared confidential patient information which he had no reason to have on his phone with strangers. He has no defence at all.
Well he was an idiot that's for sure taking a huge risk.
It's not as if she was trying to "infiltrate" secure parts of the hospital for some alternate motive though.
He took her straight to his "sleep room" knew he could be beeped for an emergency at anytime so still was effectively on call. Warned her that might be the case and whatever she would still be paid.
As for the "confidential information". Sounds like he was just showing off to a copper he assumed (wrongly) he could trust to be discrete, a photo of a bottle up some unidentifiable blokes ass that frankly could have come straight from the Internet.
I am just amazed that the press has removed the part relating to the blackmail by said WG's "associates" which in my opinion is a far more heinous crime.
