I don't think I'll bother watching tonight's episode.
When ever the media get involved with this industry, they seem to show the darkest side of it. :(

Offline secretjones

the trailer for it had the SP reminding me of Zelda out of the Terrahawks ....yuk

Offline Bangers and Gash

I didn't watch this one. TBF, I was sparked-out by 9pm.  :P

Offline MrMatrix

I saw a bit of it and got bored- went to bed early..... :hi:

Offline happyend

Last night we were told there's 73,000 sex workers and introduced to some extreme cases rather than a representation.
By heck, tonight's episode looks from viewing!

Offline claretandblue

am watching the kiki minaj one on catch up and its really boring, she looks good though

Tonight's is very grim so far

You do wonder how desperate some punters are paying £20 for some of these ladies. Much safer/better options for not much more.

Well, this is a bleak. Very rough-looking junkies and punters paying £20 to shag them is crazy. I understand the thrill of it but for goodness sake, just spending a little bit more gets you better and safer punt.

Offline JonasG

The 2nd ep seems the most relevant.

I'll watch that defo.

Last night's was grim and probably represents a lot of the general public's view of the entire sex industry, I have to say that was my opinion of the street walker scene which i've never used and didn't see anything to make me change my mind.
How the fuck guys manage to get it up with some of those crack heads is beyond me  :unknown:

Offline houseboot

I'll watch that defo.

One straight female escort.

One gay male escort.

One dominatrix.

Hardly representative so, no, no more relevant than the final (street walker) episode.

Offline MrMatrix

Lost interest again after 5 minutes as it wasn't representitive of what I'm interested in.  :hi:

Offline MT balls

I turned it off after a few minutes .This program is not at all my experience of punting .Non punters must have been horrified .Those women needed help as drug addicts .The guys seeing them  must be desperate , and need help them selves .All in all , this series must have been more ammunition for the men hating feminazi's .Another step backwards .
MT .

Offline Plan R

Disappointing. Should've guessed that, in the interests of sensationalism, a MSM production would just portray the most 'out there' prossies and punters they could find
 :dash:

Offline two20

Horrifying to hear one of them talk about regulars.

If you were one of the (probably low % age of) sex workers without some underlying issue as to why you are involved in the sex trade, would you really want to take part in a TV programme, considering the way in which the general population few the sex trade. Your "15 minutes (or how ever many minutes) of fame" would be recorded forever, never knowing when it might come back to bite you if you've moved on with your life (or family don't know etc)

I've often wondered how many of us punters would avoid "15 minutes of fame" for fear of being recognised/outed. If on the way home from a punt somewhere where you shouldn't be you maybe dragged someone out of a burning vehicle or building, would you hang about for the reporters

Saw episode two made me laugh at them weirdos how they liked getting their balls kicked but episode 3 shook me up by the way that old prossie reacted on the snowball drug. Does anybody know which part of Birmingham was being filmed in episode 3? Kind of looks like Smethwick but never had Smethwick down as a red light district.

Me too, poor soul..that was a vision of hell.

The program had nothing to do with main stream (AW type) punting though..
Apart from horror and pity for her - all it made me think was that Heroin importers
should be shot publicly in sports stadiums like they do in China - make a nice day out of it .

Offline nigel4498

I watched it on catch up but skipped through most of it.
Seemed the main object was just to reinforce the publics perception of prostitution.
Looks like to me they choose the most stereotypical bunch of sex workers.

My guess is that the producers are only interested in that small minority and unlike the decent sex workers they've no problem appearing on TV if there's a few quid in it for them.

I hate watching these silly documentaries when other people are around. Most of it is made up or exagerated, especially the financial side and you can hardly call bullshit on stuff you know nothing about

Offline Plan R

Producers - if you want to create a 'buzz', make a program about how easy it is to get safe, regular, fantastic sex with a very attractive, sane girl on AW
Interview punters (obscured) who are reasonable men.
Interview WGs (obscured) who are reasonable women.
Explain that there are legions of such men and women, and it's as natural as rain.
Let the punters explain that their 'loving' wife decided to make them involuntarily celibate 5 years ago,
and eventually these reasonable men thought.. 'I'm not living my life celibate thanks'

The main thing to portray is the husbands 'all right - don't then' attitude to wives withholding sex.

Show sexwork as no big deal and I guarantee women up and down the country will go absolutely fucking apeshit.
There'll be acres of newspaper pieces by seething women (unable to take responsibility)
saying it's not their fault they have desiccated vagina's and emphasising what absolute bastards their husbands must be for continuing to have a functioning sex drive..

You'll get more media 'buzz' than you could dream of  :hi:

Offline MrMatrix

Spot on PlanR. Now that would create  a real documentary to watch, instead of the shit put out this week. :dash: :dash:

Offline Plan R

I think so MM
Thing is, a documentary like that, would show that punting is not druggies and abusers..
in fact it's just another (albeit fantastic) service.

That message doesn't follow the 'Man bad/Woman good'  narrative.
So the idea would never get past an approval board of MSM tossers..

What a storm a documentary like that would cause though, as women realise
that the power (of withholding sex) that they think they hold over their partners, is illusory..
Imagine the mental gymnastics that would ensue

Totally fucked in the head- I cant believe she get 3 - 10 punts a day at £150 an hour with limited services. If so her customers arent on this forum as they would avoid. Shes well up herself .

From another thread, now £250ph incall, £300ph outcall

No! That's not the plan! Those seething women would cause so much disruption we would be at risk of having laws passed that ban punting much like Sweden :dash: better to leave them in their own bubble.

Also was it just me or did anyone else notice the "Hollie" or Sophia Haze girl just did the guy bareback? He pulled out and came on her back but didn't rip off a condom? :scare:

Oops sorry
Have to say when they were showing the footage I thought he hadn't put a johnny on but then he squirted oil on her and gave her a massage, think she did say that was all he wanted but I believed he finished by wanking on her back or something.
She did also comment about getting preggers as a result of having sex with a friend and it being the only time she had had unprotected sex then made a comment about her "luck" etc.

Caught a wee bit of this show last night. Wife was flicking channels and stopped on this and we watched it. I've pumped that Jess Scotland once before so found it pretty funny when she appeared on the show. I did wonder at the guys being filmed on their booking. Did they get it a discount for being filmed? They must've been told about the cameras before booking, no way would I agree to that.

Offline james27890

Heads up for anyone interested (posted in Regional as couldn't find this thread originally), there's another programme on Channel 5 next Tuesday at 10pm called 'First Time Call Girl'

Women from the escort world discuss what really happens behind closed doors. At the age of 22, Alexis has decided to become an escort and explores the reasons behind her choices. The programme also follows Kat, who's considering leaving her prostitution career behind, and 28-year-old Cassandra, a high end call girl who charges £3000 per day.

Offline Marmalade

Don’t you just love it when “prossies tell what really happened”?  :sarcastic:

It gets more dramatic as the payment goes up.

“We are doing a programme on how women find themselves forced into prostitution and end up horrifically abused. We are offering £300 an hour for your story.”

Prossies will say anything for money.

How about a programme on prossies like the ones we’ve heard about. “We want to hear from women who chose prostitution as a career and found it fulfilling.”

That would also be a large number of prossies on SAAFE as well.
