Hello gents, so I've just had a mate tell me that he was mugged in Birmingham when going to see an escort some time in may and thought it may probably be the same guys mentioned on here before. The story is as follows in his own words:
I texted the girl for a meet in the morning and agreed on a time for the evening. When I arrived I texted her and waited for her to respond. While I was waiting an asian man with mask on approached me claiming to be her security and that I need to give the money to him. Since I never met the girl before I thought she may have security with her and said to him let me call her to confirm you're her security. As I was going to call he told me to stop and said really he was from the area and him and other locals were sick of seeing people come here to see these escorts. And said they all know what they do and that they sell and take drugs from the apartment. He then said that the police were on their way to deal with me. I am a big guy and he was only around 5 ft 6 so I could've easily handled him even though he said there were other locals around and if I tried to run away they would restrain me. But the thought of dealing with police was something I really did not want to do. So he said if I paid him what i was going to pay the girl they'd let me go. So i gave him the money and i went. There were a couple of things which made me believe him. One was that he knew that she was working with another girl and that there were two of them and he knew which building they were working from. I just wanted to leave as I felt so embarrassed and people were walking by and he was being very loud. This occurred opposite upper William's street. The girl I was going to meet was a touring one. These guys have been talked about before and each time Pakistani origin has been suggested, so we can rule out Christian and Jewish.

He was leaving a private apartment after a booking, to which he was confronted by several security personnel who worked in the building. Then they say they’ll tell the police there’s nothing to worry about if he gives them money...Which is ridiculous, the police would not just turn around without speaking to the victim if there’s an allegation of sex trafficking; so obviously no police. He gave them £40 as he was outnumbered and left. Don’t think my client knew what to make of it but just sounds like the security caught wind of a WG in the building, either made an arrangement with the WG so she could stay with no hassle or mugged her punters.

I would recommend that any punter being accosted in such a manner dials 999, tell the operator he's in xxx building and he's being mugged. Another thing I would suggest is you, or any other escort involved, reports it to the police, neither you or the punter are doing anything wrong.

I don't know if the police have any dedicated liaison officers for sex workers in your area, it may be worth checking.
