I won't bother with Tinder unless you have a nice house and have a very good income then you might get someone.

In a long run punting is a cheaper option. And I love this hobby, I got freedom,  I got no drama to deal with, I got no women to control me and tell me what to do.

There are lots of WGs on Tinder but they charge silly money.  I suppose there's people paying it.

I've noticed this summer there's a fair few lone travellers passing through London who use it to "have fun" and meet saps who will buy them drinks and dinner to conserve their holiday pennies (speaking from bitter experience here but not sure I'd get an evening of fellatio and to see a pair of FFs bouncing up and down all night for 80 quid on AW)

They're quite easy to spot as they always ask you about your job and salary.  One genderfluid fem pierced type Unmatched me when I said I'd never be able to afford to stay where she was.

The WGs and dinner-for-DATY crowd on there are probably not that fussed on looks.  That said, most of the active users are around 22 so a bloke who's almost double their age will come in for some stick.

a) be attractive and charismatic to be confident, dive for it and get lucky.
b) have a little of one of the two above, and put in a load of time and money on dates where your success rate will be abysmal and end up costing you more than punting per lay.

Unless you are in the a) category or looking for more than a quick fuck, not worth it.

I'm not doing too badly but as you say, it requires a lot of bloody time.  Cash outlay hasn't been massive compared to punting.

But in general the women in the market for hookups aren't exactly stunners either.  I went back to a chubby Indian's house and had an afternoon of fun but if I'd seen her in Athree the review wouldn't be so positive
