Over the years I have checked on AW for local girls within a 25 mile radius and watched the numbers grow, the touring girls, the Roms etc and checked the trends. Numbers seemed to peak in about 20017/18 but tail off a bit last year. Our main hotels seemed to clamp down on Sergei and his girls while later in the year it looks as though most of the resident Roms went home.
Early this year, pre virus, we were on about 85% of the best number for 2018. Post virus that figures is about 60% with no Roms and only the odd tourer.
Breaking that down of the total active this week, 60% are British local, 6% had put in thr wrong post code and were hundreds of miles away, 1 was Russian, 1 was Polish (possibly a student) while 15% of the girls were Thai.
I am always puzzled about the number of Thai girls in the UK as a whole. Are they here legally, willingly or what. I do know of a few who have British partners/husbands but many of the rest seem to arrive and stay for a while. Trafficing?
