There are visitors spaces available, she only has  to sort  you out with a pass.

I understood what you meant, and I agree 100%,  they all do it.  That suits them fine & dandy.  It is easy to direct punters there & subsequently on  to the flat

You must, however,  have noticed the visitors car parking bays , and she advertises parking facilities.  So why are you not invited to use these facilities?
 
I 1st used the Harvester about 10 years ago when Busty Niki was working there, but it has now so popular that they (the Harvester)  have wised up to it

If you park in there relatively small car park  & walk off, they know exactly what you are up to, & the staff have your car reg too. 

May as well put a sign in your windscreen "Gone punting -  back in an hour" 

If you need outside parking I would use the one by the gym/pool or even Tesco's is not that far if you used the foot bridge, and is much more discreet

Not been in that Harvester for ages.  But having a look on Google Earth, it has Customer Parking Notices everywhere.   Can't zoom in enough to  be able to read what it says.   However, reading other Harvesters it seems that you are in for an £85 fine if you don't register your car inside the restaurant . 

Couldn't find out if it is rigidly enforced down the Bay or perhaps you are lucky if you get away with it.

I think you are right. However, most won’t want a stream of letters to their house continually announcing they were at a certain location. So, good to know and best to avoid.

Sadly that is not the case anymore.  Private companies are allowed to now.  Check Which? legal advice.  You can give readons, and they may accept athem, but they can enforce payments through the courts.

My understanding is the same as Iver's.   Park in a car park that is displaying these signs them you are entering into a firm contract.  They are allowed to charge for parking on private property, and they can enforce these charges through the courts.

There was some case where a genuine diner was charged £85, because she failed to register her car in the restaurant.   No refund was made as it was outside the hands of Harvester, and the parking company couldn't care less  The chances of it going away or or being rescinded - about zero.

And as SW says, who wants a endless stream of mail going to your home address.

I wouldn’t worry about the weather if I were you   The least of your problems.

I wouldn’t park in the Harvester either, but there are a number of options, not least of which is the “OM valet parking. Meet & greet 

What you haven’t factored in is all the cctv around Victoria Wharf.  “ say cheese”.
