I've noticed a quite a few contributors have "Banned" by their name/Avatar but are still contributing, are they banned or am i misunderstanding?

And when trying to upload an Avatar it says " no this, not that and no them" but most of the Avatars are all the subjects banned?

Could someone explain...pretty please as i like to learn.

most post by banned members are still readable, have you checked the dates on the posts?

Only happens if account is deleted and then shows as 'Guest'

A banned account can always have the moderation removed.

If that is the case historically then it must have been one of his 'Add Ons'. Normally the software on Forums means an avatar would only disappear 'automatically' with account deletion showing then as 'guest'.

....as the removal of reviews is IMHO, unless clearly fake, the wrong thing to do as, in many cases, they still have/had value.

Is OP missing the fact that a members post, prior to a ban, still shows as banned because the ban message is for the member not the post?

Isn't this all semantics? Because if a member is banned then he's banned. Why worry about it? They're not like the walking dead where they come back to life to shag hookers. 

That's the point though ... a banned member can come back to life with the same account should Admin wish to allow it. A guest cannot return to using that same account and is truly gone. They would need to create a fresh account.
