Indeed but in terms of time scale there is no definitive answer as there are many variables and therefore no standard answer. It could be as soon as 48 hours or as much as 6 to 8 weeks. Only your dentist could advise more accurately on an individual basis and then probably only after reviewing each case?
A one size fits all and erring on the side of caution timescale would maybe be 2 to 3 weeks for unprotected oral.

yet again about small theoretical risks and my first reply above whilst ridiculous would actually be pretty valid from a cross infection viewpoint.
