Indeed. They make constant improvements. Many but not all are prossie-orientated and the vast number are javascript-dependent. Since we use it, whether it's a sack of shite is less the issue than if, by hook or by crook, we can improve it to our needs.
When UKP was set up, AW had enough holes to manipulate it to an extent by using greasemonkey scripts, but they manage to plug some holes and others (like right-click) are enforceable with operating system or browser software or come as standard.
We can opt out of (most) Romanians, which was a noticeable step forward for punters, but things like their phone apps could still do with some work on them (such as the missing 'show a map of the area' on the app).
I've just done the same search (saved search) and within the same few minutes and got three different results. The iOS app won't sort a search so they are all jumbled up unless for instance you specify a very narrow age range. The difference between searching using the desktop on my phone and the desktop on my computer was nominal, but still there. When I narrowed the search for an age range (18-22), results were even more surprising. The app found 30 profiles, my computer a mere 23. Seconds later I try the desktop version on my phone within exactly teh same search parameters, and it comes up with 39 profiles!
It's quite a fancy search engine: but the results seem to be a tad unpredictable to say teh least...
