I just find not replying rude in any walk of life. To not reply and say she's shit at communication is not a good thing for any self-employed person. One of my family members owns his own business, even when we are out for leisure time if he turns his phone on and there's a message he gets back to them if he is in a fit state to do so.

Just have the common courtesy to reply to emails - even if it's one sentence.
