Evening folks, just wanted to drop by and issue a bit of a thank you to some of the advice on here.

Had my first punt a few days ago, nothing special, nothing bad but I learned a fair bit from it about not being clear enough when you set it up. As she is saying this, my hand is on the door latch and I'm getting the fuck out of there... "look about my flat?" she finishes, by which point i'm already out the door.

I don't have the slightest doubt in my mind it was the right thing to do!

I did, I did however arrange in haste. So as pointed out I wasn't specific enough about what it was I was looking for. First time nerves defiantly got me! There is a lot I can look back on and think how much I can do better next time.

Yes, if this isn't the fantasy I and a number of others think it might be, a fundamental rule of punting is if the place is a dump it's likely to house a minger who provides a crap service. Having said that were I a prossy I would think your request to look around a little unusual.

Best to check out AW and then use UKP to verify if the prossie is any good.  Once you built up some experience you might decide to TOFTT when there is no info about a prossie.   
Risky but sometimes pays off IMHO.
