What kind of area? London is bloody huge! If you're in south london you could probably get down to see hayley in portsmouth in about the same time as you could get to harrow or barking.

Good point! Around central London. Kensington also good. Basically within about 30 mins of tottenham court road tube.

I would see Hayley but train is expensive to go down there for a few hours.
