Wgs tend to be impressed by expensive watches, they are after all usually chavs. The question about cars is probably small talk, sort of thing you get asked at the beginning of an interview. Gave a girl a  lift to the gym, as she was ending her shift, wake up in a cold sweat some nights, thinking about the risk I took, thank god for this forum, its opened my eyes.

Only ever driven to 1 punt, and that was only because I was late returning from out of town and didnt have time to dump the car at home, all my punts I walk to as I live very central.  A couple of punts I have nipped out on my push bike the day before just to find the front door if I cant see it on google street view

One non-WG that I had a sort of arrangement with, I had kept my details top secret prior to and during the first meet, never swapped phone numbers or anything , all messaging was via the messages on the site, punt went fine, but as it was 40 miles away I had driven, and the girl stood at her door to catch a look of my number plate, I had no option but to drive past her door, she was sane enough tho, so nothing ever came of it

I’ve never been asked but on one occasion I’d booked a punt and I already knew the address as I’d seen her a few times before. As always I always park away from the venue, and when I was gettting our my car the WG walked past. She immediately recognised me and commented on the car, and we walked to the flat together, and she said she’d seen the car about before. I’m guessing it was bullshit as it wasn’t nothing that stood out.

Only ever used public transport once for a punt, in that I was on the underground anyway (on way back from a waste of time work do in London), and on that occasion the WG offered to pick me up from the station! (I declined) - but did let her drop me off there post punt. Gave her a peck on the cheek and waved goodbye. All had a slightly surreal quality to it..GFE with knobs on..

Never been asked any questions like this. Exception for me is one time she asked where I parked and that booking was a total nightmare of an experience.

One regular I've known for a while has been in my car and I've also been in hers. Don't see any issue in this case.

I know at least one reputable prossie who does that. I certainly wouldn’t accept such instructions. (Easy to sidestep by using public transport or say you are using it.) This particular prossie’s attitude is that she is thoroughly reputable (which I think apart from this dubious practice, she is). So she assumes punters should trust her.

You can see the holes in it. For every reputable prossie there’s many that aren't. In meeting strangers, sure, the prossie must protect herself but so must the punter protect himself. Our job here is to see it from the punter’s viewpoint. If either party is too paranoid they shouldn’t be exchanging money for sex: but there’s no way I would want to give an unknown prostitute personally identifiable information on request.

Paris B had a fairly solid reputation, highly professional manner and respected member on UKP for a while. Then she started advising people on Mumsnet how to identify if their O/H was seeing escorts.

Such traitorous pieces of scum are quickly blacklisted: but for some unwary punters, the damage may already have been done.

One prossie followed me out door dressed only in a thong and heels. It was September and so gentlemanlike i tried to close her door behind me saying "its cold, people will see you." She only pulled the door open wider and asked "where's your car?" When i just shrugged, she added really disappointed "Don't you drive then?"
No way was she dressed for asking for a post punt lift.
I wonder if being a wg also turns them into a sort of closet trainspotter - only they collect car numberplates instead?

Following you outside to try and see your car as you have mentioned above would suggest they think something is amiss in some way too?

This is why I like to get a postcode up front before agreeing a booking so I can check out the location on Google maps.
Once got given an address in Manchester where half the windows were boarded up, I decided not to book as at the time my car would have looked well out of place.
A lot of girls do work in shit hole areas and I was always nervous parking my last car in these areas as while it was a few years old it was notable and distinctive.
I once checked a parlour location out on foot one Saturday night and got back to the car just as a scally was riding a bike towards it with a brick in his hand, I shouted Oi and he carried on riding but i'm 100% sure my car would have been done if I hadn't come back.

If you have the option then don't take a decent car and park a street or two away where it looks a bit safer
