Illict Encounters website - anyone tried it ?

Read about the Illicit Encounters website in the papers last week.  Have had a look without joining. Seems like a variation on Ashley Madison ?

In order to contact other members you have to pay £200 for an 8 week subscription which is a hefty wedge.

Before I take the plunge, has anyone any experience of this site ? Please share. Thanks

I don't know anything of the site but I can guarantee you that unless it's a variant of SA then it won't be full of birds, sat waiting for a shag with a random guy.

Depends on what you want and how you present  yourself.
If you ask nicely, IE will very often give a discount on the quoted membership  rates, email admin.
Top tip, set a profile as a girl and see how most men speak to them, if you do the opposite and don't look like the elephant man you will be okay.
It has worked for me each time I have joined and before you say it...none were whales all very presentable including one who was 29 to my 47, more fun than a punt but harder work.

Any of these sites eg SA, Illicit encounters, Fab swingers etc are a waste of time if all your looking for is an easy leg over. I have met women on Fab, but it is hard work. As someone else said, even the far less attractive ladies get hit on and told they are beautiful as men outnumber women by a massive amount.

I actually found it quite good !. I joined with the view of finding a regular FB not a one nighter or quick leg over. I was realistic and only chatted to women who were +\- 10 years either side of my age. Over a period of 3 years or so ( 3 memberships )met physically with 4 women of which 3 became 'mistress's' . They all were in marriages that they claimed were sexless and felt that they would persue an affair rather than break up what were otherwise a functional partnership. Yes, I tried. Tried to give a good impression on profile, nice decent profile pic, but all in vain? Only ever got talking to one for any length of time. Claimed to be a policewoman? Lived about 40/50 miles away, so willing to meet. However, she wouldn't exchange email addresses or phone numbers. Would only correspond via the site. In the end, my membership expired without getting anywhere with her.

I think you're spot on - there was even one profile that said 'we will be dining out often at expensive restaurants before anything happens, and I'll be doing this with other men at the same time as well'.

My thought was, 'not with me you won't, you fucking gold-digger!'

However, there are women genuinely interested in fun and games, but they take work to find.

As the OP on this thread, I want to thank all concerned for their opinions and comments.

I'm getting the impression that the success rate is going to be comparable with SA, and that the cost of actually getting a "free fuck" is likely to require  2/3 "get to know each other" meets (with all the associated costs), then a hotel booking and probably a meal, so we're already in for a few hundred £'s without any guarantee of hitting the jackpot - and, in all probablility, an average looker.

Decision made. I'm off for an AW search.

This pretty much mirrors my own experience. I've dipped in and out over the years, but ultimately found it a frustrating experience.

1. as others have said, women join for free, so a lot are doing it for a laugh and have no intention of meeting
2. some do want to meet, but they just want the free drinks, lunch or dinner
3. there's an awful lot of overweight, middle-aged women who think they're some kind of hot shit and they so clearly are not
4. even if you come across a well-written profile, you'll often find the banter exchange very lame, so clearly someone else has written the profile, or they've nicked it from someone else's page
5. men pay, and it isn't cheap, so I suspect there are hundreds of guys scattergunning because they want their money's worth, so if you've written a personalised and witty message, it may well get lost in the onslaught

I disagree, yes their is dogs on the site but you can get lucky. In the last 10 months to a year I have met about 5 women from their. All looking for the ''no commitment'' so just sex really.

One was an utter dog who looked nothing like her photos from 20 years before, I made my excuses and left. Three of them were pretty decent looking and actually looked like they did on the site one of them I seen regular for no strings meets. Last but not least the last one is hot as fuck a freak in bed and I am currently still seeing her, might even be going further.

Just hold out and message whoever takes you're fancy, you never know.
