Arranged a meet a couple hours in advance over Whatsapp, gave the address of a hotel in Slough town centre and confirmed services. Took me an hour to drive to the hotel, parking was at the bus station 5 minute walk away.

When I got there, she asked me to wait by the lifts as she has to come down to get me. She asked me what I was wearing and oh by the way here's my bank details, please send payment now. I was thinking with my dick a little too much so I paid for the half hour (£120) and then she sent a Revolut screenshot saying the transaction was reverted probably because "I have received a payment of that amount 3 times today already so my bank must have blocked it" and that I should pay again but £1 less. That's when I told her I knew what she's doing and just left. She kept trying to bait me and eventually I just blocked her.

Not too pissed off about losing the money but I was really looking forward to that meet.

Rule no 1 in the Janet and John guide to punting is never ever pay until you have seen the SP . NEVER EVER !

I do feel for the OP as he has last money and time , if like me finding the time to punt is hard losing the time slot can be more of a hit then the money.

I did and they’ve refunded me my £120 (natwest)

Just had to fill a form in online and send evidence.

They were very helpful and gave me info on how to report to police etc

Remember these scammers rely on you shying away from reporting it due to the nature of the incident.

It’s not so much about the money, it’s the principle of it.

I’ll also be reporting it to police.
