In view of forum posts warning of bb's, just wondering what other punters view on risk of contracting a serious STI with unprotected oral sex  :unknown:

This explains a lot

I get tested every couple of months
Been with over 50 different hookers since 2015, mainly OWO and always protected sex. Always doing my research on the girls to reduce risk.

Teats always have come back clear

Ok DO NOT take this as reliable or gospel. I don’t know you, you don’t know me but why would I make it up. Few years ago I had a friend, a nurse who worked regularly at the clap clinic. I asked him about contraction rates, the “reality” not what the nhs said. Being a fan of unsafe oral (I love the taste) I was particularly interested and he told me it’s near zero.
Man licking out woman is as near safe sex as you can get without barriers. Woman giving oral (or gays of course) has marginal chance of throat std due to semen spurting and hitting the back of the throat.

Put it this way though. Even though I was told by literally an expert, I still worry about it and have recently had a throat swab which even the woman doing it said they usually only offer this to gays.

Your choice, up to you what you believe

About 11-12 years ago a mate of mine got gonorrhoea from having OWO. He was told that a woman can have the virus in the back of her throat and can pass it on by giving OWO. Maybe he was unlucky I don't know but it is possible. Probably low risk like the chances of being knocked over by a bus - someone always will be but 99.9% won't.  Not much help to you I know but just to let you know that it isn't impossible.

That’s just it Tom, it’s certainly “possible”, it’s just unbelievably low to the extent you have to be very very unlucky is what I’m told.

There’s a lot of urban myths around medical stuff, from the old “wrap up or you’ll catch a cold” (impossible) to “urine is sterile” (well if it’s always sterile then why do doctors take samples to test for infections).

He’s your mate, I don’t know him but are you sure he definitely got it from oral and it wasn’t really that he didn’t bag up and didn’t want to admit to barebacking  Half joking there but tell you something, that same nurse friend of mine said he got many people coming for testing because the condom split.... he reckons most were just shy for some bizarre reason to admit to gum nurses that they actually didn’t use a condom. Scared they may be judged maybe

Wasn't there an Agency lass who posted that she caught something via OWO, and posted on here to notify her punters about a year ago or so?

AFAIK the risk is very small and not worth worrying about, but still there non the less. You "could" catch Coldsores by kissing an escort, but where do you draw the line with how little of a risk puts you off punting? It's all part and parcel of intimate contact.

Edit: Just remembered the Agency girl posted in the NE section.

No, he definitely got it from OWO. I wasn't there with him at the punt but did trust his word. Also in my FS days I had regular check ups and asked myself. Was told it is low risk but possible.

This is all covered in a recent thread https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=239360.0
And there are others before this.
Perhaps Admin can amalgamate the two threads. :hi:
