It is all easy to explain, I’m afraid. When the first note to Admin was necessary, a member had intentionally outed ‘Bianca’ by saying she worked in a hotel on Bridge Street. Since I can think of only ONE hotel there, it seemed rather reckless to do that. I had not met Bianca at that time, and would have probably objected to such treatment of any WG in Aberdeen.
Since then, I HAVE now met Bianca, and she is a lovely young woman who is a student in Aberdeen. She went independent from Divine Entertainment, and got going on AW a bit before she understood it all, and neglected to remove her verification photo from the profile. As a student in Aberdeen, you can see how this photo could be highly embarrassing, so I urged her to conceal it from her profile, as I would now consider myself a customer of hers now she is independent. I like to see people succeed by their efforts, as an escort or as anything else, but would not want anybody to be outed if they do not wish to be.
In the intervening period, you copied her photo and loaded it onto AW before she could delete it from her new profile, so I politely asked Admin if he would conceal it, as when Bianca learned of this, she became very distressed that her photo was out there. It was your prerogative to do so, and I have loaded such photos myself. However, given a young woman’s extreme distress at trying to make a living whilst being a student, asking for concealment seemed the right thing to do in the circumstances. You may disagree, and that is your right. When I say she is a friend, I mean that in the context that having met her more than once, I think she is a good, likeable person. I like her, and admire her efforts at self-improvement. So what? She is young enough to be my daughter. I am not in love with her, or infatuated with her either. I enjoy her company, and we are friends at arms length, as many of us are with WGs when we pursue this hobby. She is young and just starting out - give her a break.
In similar circumstances, I would probably make a similar request again. Who among us with any sort of conscience would not?
