Having never seen an escort before and feeling slightly apprehensive, I would be grateful for any hints on any potential pitfalls, scams etc.

As it's my first time, I'm probably going to use an agency - McKenzies. Thought it might be safe and reputable. They also have two or three girls that are just my type.

I’ve used Mckenzie’s in Manchester, no complaints. There’s no screening of punters. How they choose the girls, no idea.

I am in the same boat as you, been looking at booking an escort for months, been to many swinger clubs but not yet taken the plunge but feel its imminent.. People on here seem helpful and pointed me to the  Escort guide as well which I have read. But also feel it could take a long time here to be acknowledged if you dont participate much and write some reviews, which is fair enough. but whats a long time....!

Why in the world would you think agency Mckenzies a logical starting point? Start with a girl with multiple positive reviews on UKP. Could be agency, could be AW or viva.  But only trust reviews on UKP.

No, the least risky option is someone who has lots of positive reviews on here - which are almost always independents. Of course though, many independents aren't well reviewed (or have none) and those are definitely more risky. Do also bear in mind that AW feedback is very unreliable, reviews on here are much better and what you should base your decision on (at least when you're just starting off).

The girl you indentified in your other thread only has 1 review on here and is outcall only. Generally, you'd be better off (and safer) choosing one of the many girls on AW who have a lot more reviews on here. Start by searching on AW, find a girl you like and then search for reviews on here - use the link at the bottom of their AW page and copy & paste it into the search box here e.g. the link to xTeenAngelx is External Link/Members Only

Generally it's safest to make your decision based on the number and quality of the reviews on here. It doesn't need to be someone with loads of reviews though, a handful should be enough to go on (provided they're positive/not bad). Once you have a punt or two under your belt then you can be more experimental if you wish. I'm not saying you have to follow my advice though, I'm just saying this is the way to give you the highest likelihood of having a good punt.

I use agencies quite a bit probably 50/50 to AW. It’s far easier to find reviews for a girl on here if she’s on AW. If you want info on a WG from an agency you could look on puntingWiki. If that agency is listed it will link any girls back to the review section. Unfortunately that’s only if someone has put the link for a particular girl on puntingWiki. If I get time I might start putting all the agencie girls I’ve see on there.

You also have to remember agency girls are far more transient than girls on AW. Some AW profiles have been around literally years but agency girls I have noticed invariably disappear after a few months. Typically they either move from agency to agency, leave the industry or go independent and turn up on AW.

As Nigel rightfully pointed out it’s far more reliable to go for a Service provider (SP) who’s on AW and is well reviewed on here.
