To be fair and to put it in perspective, The report gives no insight into who the woman is or her background. It could be she was a recent arrival to the country as a refugee.
Also they quote this sti as having a few dozen cases a year in the UK. Public health England say there are approx 420,000 cases of other sti's reported annually. So the percentage of cases of this is minute. And that it is spread by burst or weeping ulcers getting into your body. As most of us wouldn't touch anything with those kind of things around their lady parts we should be safe enough.
