Why do we care about how discrete the entrance is - unless we're punting in home town in a small community?  Its quite a big thing in some reviews.

When I started I did indeed try a walkup and was furtive and embarrassed and did about three circuits of soho before I was brave.  And I hung around outside the Hungarian girls' place in Bethnall Green, and have of course had to wait outside various Islington council block entrances asking for the flat number on my phone.  I've never been told 'Flat 34 mate' tho.

Over time, I don't really care so much.  The chances of anyone knowing me being there are minimal.  Its not like the paps will be waiting for me.

Why be furtive?

I've been embarrassed - slightly - coming out of a hotel punt when the maid sees me freshly showered and a bit damp (typically 'rather warm' in the room) when she's seen me go in when doing the other end of the corridor.  But its not for me - its that I had a decent shag and I don't really want the girl to be slung out or embarrassed, 'cos its her business and I just had service.

Is it a noob thing?  I find I can hang around on my phone and hardly care less if I'm clocked as a likely customer, and I always smile at the other guys coming out.  I'd like to ask how it was, but that's probably a step too far.

Are we just ever-so-slightly-ashamed of ourselves?

I've always waited nearby out of sight from any entrance to a WG's place and get them to text me when to come to their door. I did get a funny look from a neighbour once when outside a girls place when she kept me waiting, the neighbour didn't say anything but if he had then I'd have simply told him to fuck off and mind his own business.

Get there a bit early. A quick recce of the area, hopefully from the car but a brisk walk round before hand otherwise. If I am happy with the surroundings walk up purposely to the door as though you have every right to be there, knock, door opens, smile say "hello" and walk in confidently. Carry an empty paper folder if you want to look a part but just be confident and no one will take any notice whatever.

The common theme about punters is that they carry LOTS of cash and are unlikely to report a crime.  Identifying a location leaves WG's and punters at risk of physical harm and legal involvement.  It is isn't the the oblivious neighbour; it is the rival pimp, cop, or mugger.

I've never paid for a shag within 30 miles of where I live and usually travel anywhere between one and three hours to shag WGs because that's where the ones I want - prodigiously well-endowed ones - are. Were it in my home town I'd feel a bit different.

I think you are playing it right to look confident and unconcerned on as you approach a venue - I do the same.  The issue is that neighbours / others in some cocations become aware which creates a range of problems and hazards. 

So I am not saying approach a location looking furtive, rather be both discreet and vigilant.

I recently heard of a local regular who had to move because a neighbour had become aware of what was going on in the flat and  as was trying to record (film) through the window.  Imagine that popping up on YouTube.

I often park in a different street to the one suggested and call from there after already casing the place on Google Maps Streetview, this means there's less chance of wondering up and down the street looking for the place leaving you looking less conspicuous.

I know that doesn't eliminate every hazard listed, but it does help somewhat. 
I definitely feel more discreet (less 'observed') approaching a venue when its dark and freezing outside.

I remember a few punts when I arrived about 20 minutes early, because of the time the bus times. I got off the bus and walked around the block, trying not to look suspicious. If there had a pub or cafe nearby I would have got a coffee or a coke or something. Around 5 to I would go to the flat and buzz. I am always conscious I might be seen. The most dangerous part of a punt is entering and getting into the flat, but I've never had any issue, touch wood.

Last thing you'd want is a nosy do gooder neighbour recording you, if their doing it from there own home then fair enough not alot we can do about it however if their recording/taking pictures of you out in the open/public I'dagive them one chance to delete the footage, either that or their phone/camera is getting smashed.

It seems to me that the thing about the paranoid fear of filming etc, is that you will get filmed going in
and out because you went in and out.  Being terrified and furtive isn't going to change that.

I think the issue with publicising names might come down to if something happened in the hotel, and were looking for witness, and the punter decides for his own sake, not to contact the police.   One week later, there an appeal on crime watch, where a video is shown, asking could this person come forward

As for hotels knowing, I believe most hotel chains are aware that escorts, use there hotels for in calls booking, but chose to turn a blind eye.  For them to accuse someone who books a room, they would need prove, and a profile on AW doesn't necessary mean your seeing clients.  It might well be you have a day time job, which involve traveling to other towns for meetings

So don't think the hotels, would want to accuse someone, of being an escort

Nearly all the massage parlours that I have been to have numerous cameras on the outside and in the reception area, no idea if they are connected to anything or whether they are just dummy ones as a form of protection.  If they are connected then the parlour owners would probably not do anything with the footage as it would not be in their interest if they got a reputation for doing that but if the place ever got raided and there are recorded tapes I guess the police could use the footage although actually finding out who the people on the film were would be an endless task so they probably wouldnt even bother.  Radio 2 did a piece on brothels a few weeks back and one guy phoned in and said he was a regular visitor to them and that on one occasion there was actually a camera in the massage room itself, when he questioned this he was told that it was there for the girls protection in case a punter attacked her, true or not I guess we never know when we visit a parlour or a wgs place if they have cameras in operation, end of the day we all know the risks when we punt, but to be honest when we are all shooting our load how many of us are thinking about cameras...I for one never have

I'll just say why I never park where instructed or in view of her gaff if at all possible.....

I do it so my motor isn't linked to a prossies gaff... any local skallies then won't put my motor on the to break in list knowing just after I leave it I'll have no bloody clothes on and very unlikely to chase em down the street.

Some areas are great and my methods are paranoidily delusional... some areas are not so great and need a thinking cap on before you drop your trollies.

I park around the corner and saunter round at the agreed time.
