This Adultwork SCAM keeps popping up, be on the lookout. Will ask for payment up front.

I have never seen a scam like this one :-

profile created today. Feedback but not profile says she wants PayPal payment before meeting. Already one feedback this afternoon which reads:

    SCAM asks for 50%paymnet by PayPal..gave postcode that does not exist on royal mail address finder...the arranged travel lodge as she gets half price. SCAM
   
Disputed:   What are you on about? Postcode is real and I can get into travel lodge for half price as my friend works there!

Here's a couple more for you then, this new one sounds VERY similar.

Has an alias ... External Link/Members Only which clearly shows it is the same PROFILER as leahh and that the SCAM has been active before and there is also another that is ACTIVE having JUST come online.

I sometimes wonder how much people should be nannied, and how much they should be left to learn for themselves.

There are times when asking for an upfront payment may be reasonable and genuine, but this one just stands out so much that it's difficult to feel sorry for anyone who falls for it. It's the same with her PG, £3-50 a day for 19pics, 10 of them tagged non-nude. Anyone falling for that deserves to be taken.

I was thinking he sussed the scam before paying but guess you are right, they wouldn't have given out the false postcode until he had paid

I did once pay a deposit in order to secure an appointment with a lady touring to a particular place for just 2 days and whose services I was interested in trying. I did a lot more due diligence than reading a few AW ratings! She had a long track record with reports on several other sites. I wasn't particularly happy paying it but it was a small portion of the fee, I think it was £40 and the total for 2 hours was going to be over £200. It all worked out fine. My main worry was not that it was a scam, more that if I had a genuine reason to cancel I'd still probably have had to forfeit the cash.

These profiles absolutely scream scam to me. I can't imagine anyone ever leaving feedback where their primary point was to stress how they had paid a deposit.

If a site is popular you are going to get fakes, the more popular a site is the more fakes. There has been fakes and scammers on practically every escorting advert site.

Sadly spot on. A/W remains the best for locating WGs so while that is the case i will continue to use it.

As to deposits i would never pay one under any circumstances.

If you report them to PayPal they'll close the account and seize the dough, it's against there terms of service.

Hopefully he sussed it before paying. I suspect he did as there would be no need for the 'WG' to send any postcode at all if he'd already paid the deposit. I get what some people are saying about learning the hard way but I have to say that I could have made a few bad punting decisions if I hadn't found this site first so I am eternally grateful for all the advice on here (although I would never have sent any money upfront). For anyone that did pay a deposit I wonder if they put in a claim with Paypal - would love to have seen how they worded it if they did
