Samsung secure folder

Recently my grandchildren have taken an interest in looking at pictures on my phone.
I used to have those photos you want hidden in a hidden folder.
To make them " safer " I created a secure folder on my Samsung now I can't access them at all.
I have the  secure folder app on my phone but pressing it doesn't achieve anything .
Anyone got any idea how to find my pictures again
