Sorry for the random and quite frankly alarming topic for one of my first posts, but I though what better place to ask these sort of questions.

Situation
I'm in a happy relationship but like many others get a kick out of some variety or some new service I don get at homer.
What has recently started scaring the hell out of me is catching an STI and ruining my relationship. Because of this in the past (last 7-8 punts) I've played it safe(er) and gone for oral only, or a massage with a happy end.

My question
Any of you guys ever picked up an STI or anything at all from unprotected Oral (receiving only)?

You can get some STI's just from skin to skin contact if you touch an infected area. There's unfortunately no solution to protect yourself 100%, barring abstinence as far as I know, so all you can do is make sure you're aware of the risks and the best ways to minimise your exposure e.g. protected everything if necessary, only punting with recognised girls who're more likely to be on the safe side, getting yourself tested regularly, and remember google is your friend for research purposes etc. And as others have said, girls in this profession (the decent ones at least) are likely to be clean as this is their way of life and as such they need to be in order to pay the bills. They're probably more aware of the risks than your average girls and do more to protect themselves. But again, there's no guarantees.

There is a risk you will catch something from Oral without protection. In my 15+ years of punting I picked up one infection from OWO which was cleared up by some antibiotics. The questions is do you use a condom with your partner? If you do then I think you can relax. If you go bareback with your partner then I'd advise you always cover up with hookers.

GUM clinic thinks I'm ok but all samples have gone off to the lab inc swabs of throat and uretha (ouch). To be on the safe side I've had an injection and pills JUST in case I had caught anything. Their concern was that gonorrhea in various parts of the UK is now not affected by the drugs and it keeps on growing inside you.

I got genital herpes a few years ago, and I'm reasonabley sure it was from owo, as thats the only unprotected sex I ever had. The problem with herpes is that it can't be cured, and you have it for life. Yeah its great that she told you.  I've had 2 WG's tell me they had G, another who had C during the past 2 years.  I would never betray their honesty otherwise they may stop being honest and then the diseases spread.  For these STIs they got their treatment and abstained for a week, then they were fine and I saw them again.  Its pure luck that I have never had an STI myself - I worry about it and take precautions - the main one being I always wash my tackle before I leave a WG so I leave clean and little time for STI to take hold.

A big risk for punters who have partners is that you infect your partner.  Many relationships end that way.

Really important that punters go to GUM every few months to get checked out as you can be a carrier without getting symptoms.  WGs should go every few weeks due to number of clients they see.  The key is to be treated quickly if you have something, and tell people you have seen recently.

I visited the sexual health clinic not too long ago and the doctor was very friendly and whether she judged me or not i was very comfortable sharing the fact that I use prossies on the odd occasion. I mentioned that I will always have protected sex and would never see anyone who offers BB but OWO and CIM are the services I would regularly seek. She referred me to the website below and said this would be a good general guide on the risks. I was treated for non specific urethritis a few weeks ago. Likely that I caught it from OWO. I was expecting to be diagnosed with gonorrhoea or chlamydia. Was given a weeks worth of antibiotics and got my test results back as all clear. So, it's possible the infection could have been from something else. I think that's the case with the more professional, intelligent wgs, but over my many years of punting I've seen some low end women who I regretted later. I get checked every 3 months at GUM Clinic.  Gonerea and Chlymidia show up in 2 weeks where as HIV and Syphalis show up around 3 months.

Coldsores are a form of Herpes and avoiding a girl who has this is advised in my opinion.
