Just asking because I'm interested. My own story is that I started quite late when I was around 40, before that, to repeat a Morrissey lyric, I was 'the son and heir to a shyness that is criminally vulgar' especially when it came to women. In the bedroom, inhibited would be an understatement and all this pyschodrama was wrapped in a catholic upbringing. When my long term relationship ended, I always felt that sexual inhibition was a significant factor and that I wasn't going to let it happen again, around the same time I discovered Adultwork. I remember scanning the searches forever before finally settling on a candidate, I can't remember her name but, she was Polish I think, pretty and had a Sinead O'Connor shaved head (perhaps you guys might recall her, worked in the Marylebone area) I chose her because she seemed like she'd be pleasant to be in a room with and the absolutely last thing I could've handled would be somebody formal and hard nosed. Luckily my cards came in and she was exactly what I hoped for, I had a really great time, If I hadn't that would in all probability I'd have remained a nervous wreck, instead the floodgates literally opened and before I knew it, I wasn't only less inhibited but was becoming downright experimental. Punting has definitely had a positive effect on my civilian relationships too, if there's one thing I've learnt is that people are a lot more broad-minded than they let on.
