Even using a different FB account, if they are both accessed on the same machine, FB makes the links by the cookies it leaves in the background. I have 2 FB accounts, one for work and one personal, neither for punting, they were fine for the first 5 years, but the last year both accounts of full of list of people I might know from the other profiles. They'd be as well linked.
A girl I once booked requested a deposit via paypal prior to the session. I was wary that she would know my real name, but stupidly my small head was thinking. Anyway, she cancelled a few hours before the session and refunded me, which then showed me her name with the email that somebody had sent me money. I was offered a half price session as compensation and she seemed genuine about the incident.
Anyway I didnt mention the fact I knew her name, had the punt, and carried on with life. A few months later she posted a pic of her face all bruised, she had been attacked by a rogue punter, thats when I messaged her to mention the flaw in her deposit method, she was very grateful for me pointing it out.
She was a fantastic punt, and still in business, and probably will be for years, think she was only 20 when she saw me. I google her out of curiosity and realised she is a very smart cookie, even at 12 years old she had been awarded national awards for swatty competitions, I'd love to say exactly what, but I'll respect her privacy, and hope in 30 years when she publishes her client lists that she omits me
