With the current banking situation in China I think there might be an influx of Chinese SP's, all the asian wg's I've seen and got to know over the years all have said the same thing working here to send money back home to family, seems the amount of corruption in the China is rife, low to middle class are getting the brunt of all the crap that's going on there, no doubt girls will pay agents to be smuggled in or some girls I know they have said they come on visa's and over stay  and dissappear amounst their own community and work as wg's.

What has the political situation in China got to do with punting in the UK.   :unknown:

Well my overall thought is more asian girls may come over as wg's, as result of what's going on there.

So what you are saying is as a result of the political situation in China you hope more girls with be trafficked into this country by 'agents'.   :unknown:

But you agree it's a political situation.  :unknown:

There has already been a notable influx of Chinese massage parlours into some parts of the UK this year. Seems to have accelerated in the last eight months.
It's a problem and it's happening now. As Davie says, trafficking is the driver
Been going on for years at a lower level but the impetus is down to criminality, not politics.

More bodies in locked containers you mean? Escaping one misery and straight into another? If they make the trip.

You should be hoping that no one is ever in that position  :unknown:, but then you are quite happy to shake Mr Lees hand pre and post bunk up.

I imagine some are trafficked and some are not. I used to spend a lot of time in Hong Kong and Shanghai; no shortage of whores in either.

This is exactly the reason I’ve stopped visiting Chinese massage establishments…. I don’t want to help this cycle profit (not that me alone will make a difference).

Well, all other things aside, I'm grateful to the OP for mentioning it  :hi:

As with many things in China, the numbers are big.

It's about "bad loans" in China’s small- and medium-sized banks, which account for nearly a third of total banking assets in the world’s No. 2 economy, but have over time built up substantial risks, according to the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC).

The value of frozen funds is estimated at 40 billion yuan (US$5.9 billion), with some depositors fearful they have lost their life savings.

They have sent tanks out to stop bank customers getting to the banks to withdraw their money.

If it all goes Pete Tong in a third of China's banks I think an influx of WGs might be the least of our worries !

Even though, as this is about the Chinese economy and their government's reaction, it has nothing to do with punting and is in the ' General discussion of UK Escorts and Massage' section.  :unknown:

All the asian girls I have seen they all move around at their own free will between chinese flats houses for a week and I have told why by a few girls know which I will not go into, and it's got nothing to do with being held against their own free will, on top of that when I have got to know them I have asked and been given their phone numbers none of them have shouted down the phone help I'm a prisoner held against my will, I have had chats with them, everyone jumps to the conclusion all of them bought over against their will, like I have been told from the girls visa over stayers and yes some pay agents to be smuggled over because they want to come over in the UK, and yes it's absolutely terrible when they pay large amounts of money to be smuggled over and things go wrong, and yes some are probably bought over against their will and forced into "the job" which I extremely condone.

Hope you'll accept the amendment to your post, lillythesavage.

He actually wrote one long sentence - stream of consciousness stuff - which is probably why he put the exact opposite of what we hope he meant.

Does this need to be merged with the politics thread in off topic?
As an aside, if the there was a run on the Banks in China, how would that effect us? Even more price increases?; :hi:

Trouble is merging it fucks both threads up, on both people have replied to the post above without quoting then when it's merged a totally different post appears in it's place because the posts are mixed up and the reply makes no sense.

Thanks anyways DM

there will not be influx of Chinese SP as they are not even allow to leave the country with different visas, education or business etc. I think there will be fewer Chinese SP

As long as people like bops909 stay off the subject of the political issues in China and stick to discussing Chinese masseuses and parlours then it should be OK.

The only raids in Newcastle recently have been on Romanian run brothels and Chinese massage parlours, with illegals being found in the latter. I'm not sure if they were trafficked or here voluntarily on expired visas and the like.

I assumed he meant high street massage shops/TCMs, the kinds which have to register for business rates and VAT.

Honestly, do you think every high street shop is registered for VAT? Business rates are unavoidable, but tax evasion is as rife as anywhere else and not just massage shops.

It was shop fronted massage shops in Newcastle city centre and Sunderland that were raided. My mistake they were trafficked.

I meant any obviously Chinese massage establishments. It’s my decision, but I constantly felt the experience in them wasn’t great and they’d all become very focused on extracting as much money as possible from customers without a care for service. I also questioned the happiness of some of them and I’m wondering if the Chinese shops in the north east are all connected in some way to be honest, but I have no proof.

Also, given most are cash only, tax avoidance will be easily done as long as obvious bills are paid. As soon as break even is met, everything else can be taken and it’s unlikely they’ll put ‘extras’ on the balance sheet.

some of them are overtly legit and overdeclare the cash takings: they're money laundering fronts for drugs

Well it gets better..

There’s also a couple who told me they have links to London, so potentially an implication this is a national network.

Large parts of the Chinese community have links all over the country, not just massage shops but restaurants, takeaways, laundrys ect. Often money is sourced from within the community rather than from banks or other financial institutes. In the town I grew up in, it was thought that about 90% of takeaways had been set up with help from the biggest/best chinese restaurant owner. This was true (at least in part, whether the number was correct?) as I knew some of the takeaway owners thriugh my job at the time.

Similar is true in most ethnic minority communities as there can be a huge distrust of banks ect.

who do you think controls and trafficks the girls (and "trains" them) ???

Suddenly feeling a bit naive, but then what I’ve said is just off gut instinct rather than any actual knowledge.

Not a clue who trains them! I’m assuming there isn’t a college/Uni course with a graduation ceremony though.

Thai shops and restaurants seem quite well connected, I've heard anecdotally.

There's a chain of Thai shops in East London who advertise on Gumtree, they also advertise several flats for rent.

Can't remember now, sometimes it takes that long to get to court it either doesn't get reported or the report goes unnoticed. I do know that the police up here don't like parlours that are brothels or flats that are brothels when trafficking is concerned.

They know there's flats with more than one working but seem to be OK with that as long as they'e there of their own free will.

Re: Business club & Finance group round robins.

I had an Oriental GF/Lover for a few years back in the day. Seriously into business she was, and attended a monthly closed meetings with ten or twelve members. They talked business and brought cash for one of them to take and invest. Next month’s meeting the same, but the round moved to another’s take home of cash. Started with 500, then the next cycle it doubles and began again. I preferred a salary job so didn’t doddle in that type of finance.

It won't, at least not any more than before.
The Chinese government is one of the very few countries that is still taking the covid seriously. This has resulted in very expensive airfares back to China. And entry into China requires strict covid testing and quarantine. On the other hand, a significant number of people in China have been smuggled into Southeast Asia to engage in telecom fraud, which has also attracted the attention of the Chinese government. For many reasons, it is almost impossible to leave China if you are on a tourist visa only. But other visa types is ok, or I would not have been able to come to the UK to study.
