That's cool. Often they do and often they do not; everyone always expects people to search UKP first for AW SPs using her AW ID, or just names for other girls.
Checking phone numbers and sometimes reverse image checks are tools of the trade. You'll learn a load from chaps on here, I still am ;-)
Questioning is great, people just expect a bit of giving back too. You'll get used to the general vibe.
