I have replied to a previous email about CosParties potentially being a scam in the East England discussion section. But as Ruby kept saying the non-existent shoots would happen in London, I'm posting it here too. Admin, please delete if I shouldn't post the same thing in two different sections.
Here's a link to the original East England thread.
https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=313018.0Just resurrecting this thread to let you know about something to do with CosParties that IS a scam. Their "VIP" service. I contacted Ruby about a year ago to look at funding a porn shoot. It was something I was always interested in doing, and thought I'd learn about the business and get to watch a hot scene being filmed. I am lucky enough to have discretionary income to fund something like this, so thought why not.
Here's the link with the VIP tab.
External Link/Members OnlyI'll cut a very long and dull story short. It's a scam. Over the year, emails weren't answered. Shoots were cancelled. One was cancelled on the day when I had bought a train ticket to travel down south. The model was ill. But on the CosParties Twitter account I saw she was doing a gangbang that day, and some satisfied customers left feedback. So that story was clearly bullshit. When I asked for a refund because it was obvious the shoot would never happen, I was told the money had been promised to a model and Ruby had spent a lot of time researching the right venue. I then asked who had been booked and where it was, and was told I could choose someone and to say where was convenient for me!
Ruby says the delays are because she is juggling three businesses and a family. This is presumably why she cannot get her stories straight either. She also has a habit of blaming you for not being proactive enough, despite often going utterly silent when you try to pin down exact dates and models. I contacted her recently to say it had all been a scam then. She replied saying it wasn't, and said I wasn't being proactive enough. I suggested a date about a week back, again no reply since.
Originally I wanted to show I was serious about funding some shoots, so sent a few hundred quid. This was before the current pricing structure on the Adultwork page, and was told a full porn shoot was available. So I'm out a few hundred. Not the end of the world, but I could have given it to an SP who actually provides a service rather than scamming. I didn't even get an invite to the much vaunted monthly orgy! Although this whole thing has left a bad taste in the mouth anyway. Thought I'd just pop this through as a point of consideration in case anyone else was thinking of testing the water.
