A combination of age and past illness now make me a once only guy.  Recently had a mis fire , luckily was my regular who worked hard but couldn't get me to the finish line .
She asked how long I abstained for . Normally it would be two days . It's certainly more pleasurable after a couple of days but, in my case, not as much after four or five days - which is the opposite of what I'd expect.

I think 2 - 3 days is what has worked best for me so far. As I mentioned before, it isn't as pleasurable after 4 or 5 days and I don't think I've ever made a booking further in advance than that, so I've never abstained for longer ahead of a punt.

Haven't the previous 2 posts again highlighted to you that abstaining preferences will vary depending on various factors.
Myself and others have given factors such as age, physical and mental state, obesity, diet, appeal of SP, past illnesses, medication, male sex aids etc.
I'm just making this point again, because you're not responding to those of us who are saying that we might need a minimum of one or two weeks abstaining. On a similar forum years ago some older members said that they'd stopped masturbating altogether to be able to punt regularly.

At least a week! That's impressive! Sadly, that requires more willpower than I think I have 

2 - 3 days has worked best for me. 4 - 5 days doesn't. I'm going to try longer and see if that makes a difference, providing my willpower stands up to it.

What complicates this is the fact that how enjoyable a punt is does not just depend on how long its been since my last wank.
If I don't like my time with a WG then abstinence doesn't really matter that much.

Then there's the question of how many punts are needed to see what really works best.
