Airbrushing tattoos

Why the hell do they inflict these bloody blemishes on themselves and then half the time airbrush them out in photos 

I thought they were supposed to be proud of them?
Or do they recognise the truth that they're in reality ugly and put many punters off?

One valid reason that I am aware of, is the risk of being recognised by a family member or friend.

I am aware of several girls who have been caught out by a tattoo, despite having their face obscured.

It makes them identifiable.  They airbrush them out but the quality of the cover up often leaves splodges on the picture.

I have been saying this for years, but to no avail. It appears 90% of prossies love them and quite a few punters do too.
I am old enough to remember when most females did not have tattoos. Now it would appear that the vast majority do and not just prossies. Even those who don't have visible ones will still most likely have one. I can't recall one American porn actress who is tattoo free.

Stephanie Swift maybe? I've made a correction for you. Most men I've spoken to dislike tattoos or accept them, but don't really like them. The men that love them usually have them themselves, work in the tattoo\biker\rock industries or are chav cunts.

If prossies have been outed by this fair enough, but I think in some cases they say that because they know it puts punters off, for example very few parlours and agencies show tattoos and I'm sure punters believe that the girl has no tattoo as a result. TBH if the tattoos are airbrushed out, they probably won't get my business unless it is a parlour as I can see them in the flesh. I would even class it as a bait and switch scam in some cases. The discretion argument may apply in some cases, but I think it's an untruth in some cases, the same as "knocking 5 years off age because their hubby might find out"; in a lot of cases it's just to get every Tom, Prick and Abdul through the door.
