Where any problems concerning the prostate are concerned you should always seek proper medical advice. An enlarged prostate usually results in urinary problems, but there can be others. However, if it is prostate, better to obtain attention while the prostate can still be treated (shelled) rather than completely removed. Removal of the prostate usually results in complete loss of sexual ability -no erection - but if it can be shelled (i.e. the shell left in place but all the innards removed by laser) the ability to obtain/maintain an erection still survives but there is no ejaculation of either lubrication or semen. As my young regular put it "All the fun of a fuck but no mess in the vagina".
When I was 78 I had a similar problem to the OP, accompanied by need for over-frequent peeing, and finished up having my prostate shelled. As the nurse was removing the tube from my urethra the day after the operation I had an erection immediately, and after allowing a couple of weeks recovery time I was able to get back in the saddle (so to speak), and to my surprise I found that I was able to fuck for 3 or 4 times as long as previously before I had to orgasm - I won`t say "cum" because although I had all the contractions and spasms and pumping sensation as before there was absolutely no emission whatever. I was still able to continue my sex life very satisfactorily until I reached 88 when first a broken hip, then cancer caused my retirement from action.
