I can see several discussions on how to obtain the lovely little blue pills on the forum, and the discussion of the side effects.

I have one question regarding the side effects. They are commonly listed as headaches, alterations to vision (blurred, or blue tint).
Do these side effects happen in general (if the taker is effected), or is it specifically during "the act", that they happen ?

Not that you would usually take them for the fun of it, but I was just wondering if the effects only take place when its activated, for want of a better phrase. For example, if you were to want to test for side effects, is just taking one enough to figure out if your effected. Say you take one and just watched TV for the afternoon to see if you got flushed, or to see how bad the headache would be.

Occasional slight headache for me from around the 40 min mark, so still pre punt. Around this time, face will also feel flushed, but won't look it. After a particularly strenuous punt though, my face will appear quite red, and the headache will be worse, and if I'm driving in the dark, I'll need to concentrate a bit harder than usual.

So to answer the question, side effects do vary between punters, but for me I get very mild side effects regardless of my activity, and more noticable side-effects after vigorous activity.

The effects happen generally and usually last 4 or 5 hours.
I generally drop a couple of ibuprofen at the same time to stop the headache.

I get -
A) occasional headaches, several hours after taking, easily sorted with Paracetamol
B) frequent heartburn, lasting for hours, eased by good old Rennie's (I am rather pre-disposed to heartburn anyway)
C) flushed face, more so during the act - I have the videos to prove it and I do look rather odd(er).

All well worth the benefits of an erection like an iron rod!

You'll get the side-effects whether you're 'activated' or not. So pop a pill, watch some TV (or some porn) and see what happens. It's the only way you'll know for certain what side effects you may or may not get. You may or may not get the same side effects on recurring usage, but it's usually rare for it to be different on each occasion.

Cool, I tried one, and just sat around watching TV and didnt even notice a single effect, so that looks good. Was just alittle concerned that taking one and doing nothing wasnt a good enough test to prove if i'd have side effects or not.

I read somewhere when I  got mine that they won't give you a hard-on, that you have to be sexually stimulated then they'll prolong, or make it easier to get, an erection.

Maybe it was your choice of TV viewing.

They don't cause arousal, and but when you are aroused, they make it easier to get and sustain a quality erection.

I think it was Friends on Comedy Central, so you could be right I think they were Joey heavy episodes so you could be right 

I was aware that you need stimulation to make the rod grow.. was mainly wanting to make sure that I wouldnt get the headaches or anything from it.
