The big difference between now and when I smoked cannabis 25 years ago is I smoked rocky a solid, now the predominant type at least where I live is skunk which is evil stuff. I recall trying it all that time ago and all it did for me and my girlfriend at the time was give us both a steaming headache. I don't even like the smell of it whereas I liked the smell of rocky, a recurring cough is why I said no and gave it up, not touched any kind of illegal drug since.

I met with Rio Lee back in, I think, 2016, before I joined here. She was with Maxes at the time and I had a good session mid afternoon. There's this big perception that it's harmless, and it's good for 'stress-control'.

Perhaps people ought to be controlling their stress by learning to deal with it, rather than adding to it with paranoia and anxiety that long-term cannabis use is likely to bring.

Instead of these kids (and some of people I used to hang out of my age range) eating better, going to the gym, getting rid of toxic people around them and educating themselves on a career that pays well, they will live the Yolo life in their 20's and early 30's and when they finally grow upon their mid 30's and above, they want to vote for Jeremy Corbyn to get rid of their student loans, make that shit free in this country and pump tons of money to the NHS. All that not because if it is the right thing to do or not but they want the government to sort their mistakes out instead of doing it themselves. Smh....

Like someone said before. Only person that will help her is herself. I believe on a twitter post that someone posted here that people who knew her has given up. Like I said before, people who get into the porn industry should know what they are about to get into as once your in the industry you can't go back to the life you used to have.

I don't know about that. She has been out in London tube recently. Not out on the tube, but out on the tube around this lockdown. And if you ask me, if she was at mental care hostel, I doubt they would let her crazy ass out to the public.

Reading between the lines it looks like she's at one of St Mungo's hostels now but was at - or under the care of - a  mental institution. If they got her stabilised on her drugs then she'd be released to   somewhere like St Mungos - where she'd be free to stop taking the drugs again

Yeah I agree that she needs help but she is only one who will decide to go get help sadly. I have never suffered from any serious mental health or drug addition, but I have suffered from depression and alcoholism couple of years ago and it was myself that got myself out of that pit and pulled myself together. If she wants help before it is too late she will need to act now. Lockdown is best time to reflect and do some soul searching. But she can only do that.

Yes good post though no idea what her diagnosis maybe, I agree the police could well be people providing her housing and medical care, the thing is IF this is the case it tells me she is a long way from really wanting the help on offer. She is lashing out maybe unwilling to admit to them or herself she has a problem, and not thinking she had a problem was the main theme when she was on UKE 1 a couple of years ago.

As I posted earlier in the thread she may have to really hit rock bottom whatever that may be in her case before she faces her problems, and then starts to really deal with them.

Once someone's tried crack and heroin there's pretty much gonna be a cycle of hardcore drug abuse/addiction for the rest of their lives, I must of known of over a hundred drug addicts/junkies in my life time if not more and I can only think of 1 that has ever gotten properly clean and even then that person will be on methadone for the the rest of their life, and I would say 90% of all these people I know of that have been trapped in the drug addiction vicious cycle for the last 20 odd years has developed severe mental health drug induced psychosis, once you get on the drugs it's a slippery slope and they certainly weren't joking back in the day when they told everyone "just say no"

For me it's all about reflecting, getting fit and especially with me getting with all the "friends" who been brought me down for having different views on life/politics and bounced once my downward spiral beginning (most these guys were from Uni and College - seems like once the party was over they disappeared). So fair my alcoholism has improved greatly. I still have a drink every now and then (last drink was 2 months ago) but don't go over board like my uni days.

But I know I been harsh on Rio Lee on here but as I look back to the comments, I hope she gets the help she needs.

Sorry for me bad English. I don't think I wrote that sentence well. I basically meant Friends who brought me down for different views of life/politics. I will explain better, at that time in my Uni days I was wanted to better myself and understand politics a little better. Was beginning to listen to people like Jordan Peterson, Jocko Willink and others and changing my politically views on things. But being in the circles of largely Labour/champagne socialists that I was in, they did not approve. Worst yet was black listed to friends parties and instead having heated arguments about my character and why I am a evil person for holding such views (for having different views mind you).  I could go on all the drama I experienced but I will say I had one "friend" told me to get my life together over my politically views on facebook instead of telling me that same message when I pasted out drunk in my uni days (almost needed to have my stomach pumped) with me calling his girlfriend/wife at 3am. Me almost dying was not the time to tell me to get my shit together but listening to something politically different than him was more of the problem.


On the bright side has moved on and been able to pick myself up. Not found new friends though.
