Author Topic: Webcamming used as a scam  (Read 822 times)

My ex girlfriend webcams on adultwork (she's currently pregnant and her boyfriend doesn't know she cams but that's another story) and she used to say that she escorts in order to get more traffic to her page. People used to ask her when she's available and she used to just go through her diary trying to fit them in (while paying 1.49 a minute for the pleasure) despite having no intention of escorting.

There were a few guys who actually thought she would escort though, leaving feedback like "can't wait to see you" and "looking forward to our meet" in feedback when she had 30/40/50 feedback, and all of them were from camming.

Eventually adultwork messaged her and said they'd remove her page if she didn't take the escorting option down as she kept ignoring booking requests.

I think this ought to be on the main board so more people can see it.

I have moved this post out of a topic I started on the Yorks board as I think Ashley's response ought to be seen by more members as it shows why scammers often choose to webcam.

That's not as bad as just playing a video of themselves though - as I suspect an awful lot of cam girls do.

i find webcamming a total waste of time, when you see trollops like chloe maffia with thousands of feedbacks from guys paying £5 a minute i have to question the sanity of these people and whether its actually real

Exactly. Watching a blurry webcam does absolutely nothing for me. You can get better porn in much higher quality for nowt!
