You sure you're a punter? The OP should be congratulated for visiting the Plod to try and stop this sort of shit hitting other punters. As paying for sex in this country is (not yet) a crime, the Plod were well out of order not investigating the fraud.

However you're right in that it is a life lesson, but how we all deal with those differs and the OP took, what I think, is a courageous step in reporting the fraud.

I'm a mug, live and learn, luckily it was only £200 which was spent anyway and the only thing I missed was a fuck. My life lesson, learned and shared, is that pro$$ies, however you find them, are plentiful, be sure to fuck them on your terms or move on.

As for the plod, it's the same old shit, women are always the victim and while that is the default position they can get away with robbing punters. How often things like this go on I have no idea, a hidden crime, very few punters would admit to being robbed and even fewer would report it.

My advice, don't get stung. After being stung report it here instead of to the old bill.

Sorry to hear this happened to you I and I am sure many others have had similar things myself in a clip joint in London with the added threat of heavyes if it was not for some Scouse lads who were havi`n any of it ( they argued about ticket/drink charge) I feel I would of walked out as bashed as my wallet. I to make the mistake of going to old bill ..oh sorry sir its quite legal as its stated in small print and on the sign>

The girl in the OP case, and others, may not be selling sex at all. She could be a serial scammer. It happened to me once long ago. The girl and her male partner in crime were not selling anything, just stealing. I spoke with another guy who they scammed just like me. The cops could do nothing then as 'it was a transaction'. The law may have changed since 1992. I informed the income tax people who were very interested. I had been told previously by someone with inside knowledge that they investigated EVERY reported case. She disappeared from the streets shortly afterwards.
