Chest size and cup size are two different things.

Indeed. To measure a bra you would measure under the tits and then across the tits. The chest measurement is the first one and a number. The difference between the two gives you the tit size and is converted to a letter.

That's why in terms of the "perfect" 36 24 36 to me would be a bit big in the frame.
