Bankruptcy normally lasts for 12 months. After that, you're no longer bankrupt.

However, if you have income,  then in the early days of bankruptcy   the receivers will work out your " necessary " expenditure,  and you will be asked to pay over the excess for a period of 3 years ( minus a token £20 per month).

You are supposed to liaise with the official receiver if your  income changes (up or down). I'm not sure when KP was declared bankrupt, but she may be out of official  bankruptcy  now.

I rarely believe the guff in the papers about a celeb's "worth". They can't possibly know so it's either wild guesswork or what they are told by the particular celeb's "people" which will inevitably be what is most advantageous to say this week. Also the seriously wealthy celebrities - usually the actually talented ones - don't tend to brag about it anyway as they have no need to.

Most of our run-of-the-mill tabloid fodder personalities I doubt are worth anything near what the papers report them to be. As for KP's current bloke - I doubt he's worth anything close to 4 mil. Most of that stated £4m will be in the form of his business which will, I can pretty much guarantee, be heavily leveraged. If he owns a house it'll most certainly be mortgaged to the hilt and everything else he owns will be on credit and needs to be serviced or he'll lose it - including his bird, she's a big financial drain, obvs!

He's basically a chav, like Katie, who will turn out to have fuck-all business sense in the end. If he were to liquidate all his stock - or sell his business - and sell his house and all his possessions do we honestly think he'd have a bank account with £4m+ in it after paying off any debt? Not a farking chance, in my opinion. He's just a chancer giving the illusion to the masses of having a few quid.

It's an Internal Disiplinary Board, not a Court, so she wouldn't be able to attend even if she wasn't going away. If it's decided by the CPS to bring Criminal Charges, she can attend Court.
