New York might be something of its own beast since it's such a big, expensive city.  I'm on the west coast, but I can give pretty good advice for finding ladies in the U.S. in general.

To start, I'd recommend going to backpage.com and look up New York and Escorts.  It's the most nationally used website that I've found, though there are a lot of more regional websites.  Most of the affordable girls will probably be listed there, though you can find more exclusive girls by googling phone numbers and see where else they're posting (they almost always advertise on several websites at the same time).  They'll be pretty likely to know the local websites and it wouldn't be long to figure out which ones are popular for the N.Y. area.

I always find it's good policy to do as much internet searching as possible before seeing a girl anyway.  For safety, for quality, for pricing... any number of reasons.  You may find that a lot of girls post different prices on different sites depending on the income level of the clientele she expects to find on a particular site.  They don't normally change their quality of service depending on which site you say you found their ad, but they'll hold you to the price if you found one of their expensive ones.

I can only go on what I've heard, but seeing girls out of the strip clubs etc in N.Y. is very expensive.  $1000/hr type prices aren't my thing, but if money isn't an issue, then I wish you the best of luck

Try jewels-nyc.com and gentlemanschoicenyc.com (they seem to be run by the same people). They are pretty reasonable though the girls vary considerably in quality and characteristics. They have an "interesting" strategy for making sure you are not a cop...

Probably the most reputable source of info is bestgfe.com -- you may need to create a log in to read all the reviews.

NY is very expensive and a lot of fakes. Yellow pages in hotels are good as are morse Asian massage parlours.

My advice is to save your money. I am over here on a very regular basis and I save my hard earned for the great Northern UK.....

OK, OK, native New Yorker here. Sorry I didn't see your post or respond sooner. I don't look here for New York contacts, and only check in when I'm on the UK. I hear you. Yeah, it could be better.

There is no single board. It is a big country and there are significant difference between every state. Nevada is the only state where punting is legal. That is a whole different story from New York. After Governor Spitzer resigned for using funds to pay a call girl, things have not been the same. Several websites disappeared overnight and others were subject to FBI raids. Don't forget that New Jersey is a different state with different laws about the hobby. Not Amsterdam, but not Pyongyang either. As they say, everything in Jersey is legal as long as you don't get caught.

That said, let me help you out, my friend. Not for last time but hopefully for next time.

The closest we have to a national board. A bit snobbish, not very welcoming to newcomers, a lot of stuff is made-up, but it delivers on the top-shelf if you can get 3 or more verified reviews for the same provider.

Errr... probably because it's illegal there?!! 

There have also been plenty of External Link/Members Only out there too and well publicized. One in the Long Island area, as you can see, not too long ago. And the cops have also used Backpage and other places to trap punters.

I'll be very, very wary out there as it's most likely going to cost you a lot.
