Adultwork Fake Profiles

I was wondering if it's worth starting a thread on fake profiles on Adultwork (if it's not already been done for the area)?

I'll start with External Link/Members Only External Link/Members Only who is using pictures of porn star Maya Kendrick (External Link/Members Only). I guess it's just a matter of days before there's a private gallery available...

The problem I've noticed over the last few years is that a lot of the fake profiles are using pictures that they grabbed from some poor tarts facebook or instagram account. Facebook/Instagram don't let the pictures on their pages be web crawled, so they'll never come up on a reverse image search unless they've been posted on some other site too. It's making it harder to determine the fake accounts from the real ones.

My general rule of thumb is that if a "girl" on Adultwork is only using clothed pictures then there's a good chance they've been stolen from someones social media pages. Also, if they repost the same pictures in their galleries that also sets off alarm bells. Inevitably, a private gallery will appear with the face cropped or blurred so other more hardcore pictures can be used.

There's been a bit of a spate of profiles appearing, and quickly disappearing again, just like the TGTBT one in the OP. Most have been characterised by the addition of a gmail address. I tentatively enquired of one ( in Lavenham !! ) and quickly got the old "deposit required" BS

AW couldn't give a monkeys as they make a fortune off their cut of the private gallery and video clip sales. It's really not in their best financial interest to shut these profiles down.

Can we just remember that posting here and AW profile address to refer to a WG is absolutely useless because all the chances are the profile will be deleted within hours .
I couldn't find any live profile of all those posted here
So what's the point of  posting only an AW profile address to report fake profiles for example?
Screen Shots or Pics pasting are better and lasting (Unless that is against UKP policy...)

This is generally better for ratings as well. I always include a screenshot of the ad.

You can spot fakes if you take your time. B&S is more shitty followed by massive outdated images

the profile will be deleted within hours . That's part of the point surely .... prevent anybody falling for the fake AND to get the fake removed !! ? Keep Sergei or some scammer in Nigeria busy earning his keep !!

Pics pasting are better ..... well, maybe ... but the pics are fakes ... and change all the time with this particular scammer. So why bother ?

Maybe a better way is to document the phone number. They tend not to change rapidly.

No doubt they will all disappear as quickly. One thing they all have in common is offering bareback. A good enough reason to move on. The other thing some had in common was photos of ladies with huge bottoms. Perhaps a personal favourite of whoever makes up these profiles.
But I still dont see how they make any money from these profiles.

Simples - they get you interested in a booking and then ask for a deposit in the form of an Am**on evoucher or similar.  They are not some guy just creating a few profiles on AW, the indications are they are doing the same worldwide using the same batch of photos and much the same text. I suspect it is a serious criminal set up and probably originating in Nigeria or at least using Nigerians to do the posting etc.
