Ive had a few cancellations in my time of punting, and they always seem so dramatic, which involves trips to A+E, so how come when I go to A+E and sit there for 4-5 hours to be seen I never notice any escort there...unless they are the ones dressed in nurses uniforms.

Offline Sedlmayer

All I can speak of is my own case, I did a RB on AW, an escort bid and won the bid, then said she thought I had said Tuesday not Wednesday so I changed it to suit.
On the morning she changed the hotel and the booking time, saying that the hotel was full due to United playing Cambridge, but another was okay.
I was on the train when I got the cancellation, saying a tooth had been removed which she didn't expect.
Date, time, place, all had been changed, then cancelled as I was on way.    Now that I think deserves a negative.

For what it's worth, I wholeheartedly agree, Sir  :drinks:

As for front..... James (0 reviews) congratulating Smiths (100)

Looks good but 29 of those reviews did not result from a completed punt, and I thought me and NIK were unlucky.

I am pleased to see the invalid review has been removed, you can't give a negative review because you can't understand the girl on the phone ---------------- you just hang up and go elsewhere.    :hi:

As though I care what a person like you thinks, a punter who advises a WG to raise her prices but keep you on her old rate, sums you up.

I will make it clear for you. Last year I did a review BEFORE the present rules came in so it wasn't invalid when I did it about a WG I couldn't understand on the phone so I couldn't get an answer to my questions. After the rule change by admin it was deleted. Since then I have followed the new rules to the book. So in reality THEN it wasn't invalid at all, it became invalid under admins rules he brought in later.

I was thinking about this half the night and realised a negative cant be converted to a positive but it can make things look a lot better if a real apology is given with an incentive to rebook as it is an accepted way of many businesses now to offer an incentive if they have let you down in some way.
I went to Sainsburys to buy a TV and had to wait 25 for both the assistants to come off break (they were not supposed to go together) the manager gave me £150 in vouchers plus 10% off the TV I wanted to buy so I paid less than half the cost of the TV as an apology for keeping me waiting (messing me around) and as an incentive to carry on shopping there.

If someone as big as them feels the need to offer incentives then it must work.  Its better to take £20 off of my fee as an apology than to lose what could end up being a regular client who pays me a lot of money over the year.

So no it wont change a negative to a positive but it may make someone accept the cancellation is genuine and rebook and write on the next review that she had offered you a discount and upheld that discount as she had cancelled before at short notice.

Sometimes actions speak louder than words and anyone can say sorry but it seems more genuine when they act in a way that makes the apology seems genuine

agree with Dani, things do genuinely go wrong in all walks of life and how they handle the problem is a good measure.
i had a cancellation from a well known WG, aplogetic text received first thing in the morning with a promise to compensate when she was better (yes - fulfilled)
her story was confirmed by another punter also cancelled same day and another WG who works with.

Indeed. One of the reasons I shop at John Lewis is that one can usually rely on them to bend over backwards if anything isn't right.

The difficulty with prossies though Dani is knowing when it is genuine. When a regular who I knew very well indeed cancelled and rearranged, or was a bit late, I knew it was genuine. But statistically most prossies hand out excuses like re-used tap-water. They also have very short memories or assume punters do. One just has to be factual about it: and also, unfortunately, play the odds.

My feeling is that a well-established older prossie who works hard to maintain her business is more likely to be genuine with excuses and perhaps even honour promises. It is not to say all the younger less-experienced ones are bullshitters but most of them don't have the skills to be convincing when the excuse is genuine.

There was one girl in Edinburgh, a post-grad veterinary student, and I could set my watch by her outcalls on every occasion over about a year I think it was. She was explicit and precise in her statements and answers, which quite suited my own (at times) exacting nature. When someone like that indicated she had a slight problem and would 'make it up to me' with a 20 spot discount next time I never doubted it. But the majority of cases are not worth the hassle. They might work in nice flats but often I'm afraid they have the mentality of simply slightly scrubbed streetwalker.

I have a simple rule of thumb, Cancel at short notice once & the chances are I will reschedule as shit happens, fuck me about twice & you will never see a penny of my hard earned. That rule goes for newbies & regulars alike as there is plenty more holes to explore out there.

Good point, and exactly what I was trying to allude to. We never truly know if the reason to cancel is genuine but a genuine apology and offer would go a long way to show they want to make up for their actions. Whether the punter accepts it or not is up to them.

Shit happens, I'm sure we've all had to cancel of have been cancelled. I realise it happens sometimes. For me the pisser is when it's last minute (especially if I've travelled) and no effort is made to reschedule. I wouldn't expect discount but I would expect the girl to make some effort to rearrange the booking. My last cancellation went something along the lines of: I'm so sorry but I've got childcare issues this evening so I'll have to cancel. I'm so sorry. I can however see you tomorrow at... Or the day after at....  Sorry again. As it was I couldn't make any of the alternatives but I did appreciate the effort

To get me to see her following a last minute cancellation, she would have to either give me a discount for the alternate meet or include certain services in her hourly rate (if she charged extra for any specialised services)!!!! A last-minute cancellation without reasons is a big negative for me!!!!

I think the review system needs altered.

Negative
Positive
Neutral.
These three categories reflect an actual booking.

Timewaster - seperate category for a no show.

I dont think negative bookings are useful but if there was someone who was a timewaster then i would remove from the reliability list and hotlist.

Atleast thats semi viable.

Ive been told in the past:
nanny has to go so i need to go back home
Landlord just arrived (post code was leading to a hotel)
Someone just booked me for an overnighter sorry.

Everytime childcare has been mentioned there was a 10-20 reduction for time wasted.

Absolute rubbish about it being open to debate, even though it's within the rules.

The bottom line is, and this happened to me recently, us punters may have had a chance of alternative plans or get invited to something with friends or whoever, then turn it down essentially choosing to spend time with a prossie over your friends.

I took the opportunity to punt in this instance, as they are few and far between as I have a missus, and was let down by a complete no show. Bottom line I missed out in a great night with my friends.

Even if I had no alternative plans, to me the only thing no one can ever give back to you is your time, you only have a finite amount of that, and we don't know how much, so when people waste it, it is a disgrace and the height of rude and ignorant behaviour.

After giving a scathing review, I got a pm offering an excuse and an apology, certainly no free punt or discount was offered.

"Cancelled at last minute" is a piece of data: having a rant anout what a cunt she is when you've never met her isn't information, it's supposition.

In Edinburgh the pool of escorts is such, discounting the fly-by-nights, that we can profile a lot of prossies on batting averages. There are ones that rarely cancel and some of those are great in the sack, some are shite. There are some with whom an appointment lucks out more than a winning jackpot but sadly the same applies: some are great in the sack, some are shite.

We're talking prossies ffs, unregulated blackmarket. Not bloody Volkswagens (though personally I don't think a lot of Volkswagens are as reliable as they make out).

She might be a fucking 20yr old dipstick, with a body that causes accidents at roundabouts, and who only works two hours a week and doesn't care if she pisses most people off as long as enough keep coming.  That it is a 'ridiculous' attitude is not likely to make her change her ways: she's not really interested.

On the other hand if she has half a brain, a sense of decency, wants to make a career out of it -- all of which are optional extras -- then she might act more reasonably. But don't blame a dog for barking.  It's what dogs do.

I used to regularly see a very unreliable escort.  I think out of 12 confirmed outcall bookings she actually turned up twice, the rest were postponed, cancelled or no-shows.  But, when she did turn up she gave me an overnight freebie and other days we would spend social time together, cinema, a gig, restaurants, coffee shops etc and she was happy to pay her half of the bill and sometimes mine too.

The only time it cost me financially was the last time I booked her as I paid for a hotel myself and the travel costs. When I went to collect her from her place she claimed to have a trapped nerve in her neck. She sat in my car and while stiffly staring forward, explained that she  was unable to go through with the booking as she was in some pain and unable to move her head or left arm. She apologised profusely and offered a significant discount on a next booking, I quote “The next one is on me, I’ll even pay for the hotel”.

She retired soon after and I never did get my "compensation".

A nice story Lex and I believe you. Little nice sincerities do the joy of life indeed make.

When I look at your icon I can imagine you sitting in her cum-stained cabbage-patch bed, purring contententedly, flicking your tail quizzically if she as much as suggested "you're a cat and can warm my bed up any night."

Good on you for getting a nice bang. Probably worth more than the dosh saved (unless you are a mercenary liitle furball).

Thought I'd bump this thread as I've had recent experience with Hot Ameera that might restore faith in some girls' (or at least Ameera's) commitment to good service. I think it's worth mentioning as she's so popular she could quite easily have thought she didn't need to bother, but she really cares about her reputation and her clients.

Glad it worked out for you. It didn't for me, and it seems a couple of other unlucky NW punters.

Ameera shows that managing a negative event (a cancellation) effectively can have a positive outcome.

A good reputation is a lot easier to loose than it is to acquire and it appears that Ameera knows it.
